Agree. Except, as an organist myself, who appreciate* the work and effort needed to play this piece, and who use* the language somewhat pedantically, knowing the subject for appreciating (and indeed using) is "I" and not "organist", I do not talk of an organist who appreciates (because that would be another organist, and third person).

@@beaufighter245 You wrote, "as an organist, who appreciates the work....". The subject of the sentence is "I", even though the pronoun is omitted. You would not write, "I appreciates". You would write "I appreciate". In effect you are saying "(I) as an organist, who appreciate...". The subject of the sentence is NOT "organist". "Organist" is what you are, which in this sentence is the omitted first person "I" since you are speaking to us.

@@stevekake3359I'm not an expert, but can give some answers. Left and right are independent. If more buttons go down, it can be either that two buttons are linked to allow playing the same note from different positions, or one button can be linked with multiple buttons to allow multiple notes with one button. There are many different types of accordeon, with different layouts that can be easier and more difficult to play, as well as specialized to be more suitable for specific types of music.

Imagine a missionary in early times’ first cognizance of a means to import such a “fixed” aspect of European “high church” into the most remote and primitive corners of the earth; NOT from a 64 foot pipe, but an instrument the size and weight of a suitcase, in the right hands, can perform just such a miracle, and both savanna and jungle may now be graced with everything from Handel’s “Messiah” to appropriate accompaniment for “Adeste Fidelis”… A game-changer by any definition.

@@mikeguthrie5432 I was just stating that 36 really isn't a young man. Unless you are like 70 or older. As for the god thing i'll take the 5th..

@@metallives529 Well Sir , age is a relative thing for some of us. I'm 81, and boy what I wouldn't give to feel like 36 again. But I understand your point

How was that even possible????? It takes enough effort with two hands and feet and even then I don't have to provide the wind, when playing!! Speechless with admiration!!

i didn't think the complex motion of the organ would translate so well to a free reed instrument, but the accordion has reminded me of its complexity with this guy. superb work!! RIP.

This is one of my favorite Bach compositions!!!!! As a former accordion (piano accordion) player, I am in awe at how he used the bass side of the instrument!!!! In my younger days, I played some classical music to get a better feel for 40s, 50s and 60s jazz/swing music: harmony & composition. In my musical group, we catered to the "Greatest Generation" and my favorite, eastern style polka music!!!!! Being Polish, this was rather easy for me. As for my jazz, I was a fan of the Pete Jolly school of accordion playing. I only wish there were Bach charts in the late 50s and into the 60s that were arranged for the accordion. Even back then, I loved the Master's music. But this, is absolutely amazing!!!!!

Это что-то немыслимое. В голову приходят две мысли. Баян - это маленький орган. Звучит потрясающе! А второе - классическое произведение больше, чем тот мотив, что все знают. В любом случае - браво!

That looks like the most complex musical instrument ever contrived and I'm blown away by Sevastian's mastery of it. Well done. Though his eyes cannot see what his hands are doing, he turns his head to focus his brain upon the hand that is performing the most complex work.
