A wise man named Bricktop once said never to trust anyone who owns a pig farm.

One of the memories that kind of haunts me still was when I was working as a Social Worker in BC and one of my clients was the mother of a Picton victim. Her daughter who was identified from DNA after she had been fed to pigs, left a damaged woman barely able to function. I hope that these years later she has found some degree of peace in her life.

Convicted on 6, confirmed on 26 (more?), claimed 49 total to the best of my memory. We Canadians appreciate the future cost-savings.

I lived through this man’s reign of terror. So many women gone he preyed on the most vulnerable women. We are happy he was served justice in prison. The families of the victims can stop looking over their shoulders for that I’m grateful.

This dude lived in my area. We were ALL , very upset with our RCMP! They were given clues from people, but because they were 'street walkers', they ignored these clues!!

Fun fact: I'm from where this gut comes from. And it's a common knowledge that although it all got pinned on him but his brother was the crazy ass one. His brother was totally nuts and made picton look like a school boy. He was never investigated.

In the mid 1990,s I recall hearing stories of a Vancouver all night party hangout called Piggy’s Palace. Years later, I was horrified to discover the Palace was connected with women being murdered I even heard the food being served was laced with the remains of his many victims.

So the pig farm is literally down the road from where I went to high school. And the parties were held on another property away from where he killed his victims. They owned another property on Burns rd which they dubbed “piggy’s palace”. The pig farm was on Dominion.

Quebec, Canada here, it was no surprise. Everyone knew what was going on.or at least knew something fishy was.

My old boss used to be a backo operator on the farm and used to attend parties. He told me there was NO WAY it was just Willam who was involved his older brother who is currently FREE and a convicted sex offender was definately involved. Sadly now that Pickton is gone we will never truly know the actual full story.

The Pickton brothers 'Piggy Palace Good Times Society" non-profit wasnt technically located AT the Pickton farm, but was housed/located in a separate building, not far from the pig-farm, just a block or so down the street from them. However, more than a few parties were held @ the farm on occasion. I'd seen that 1st hand @ a H.A sponsored party there back in the day. (early/mid 1990's)....Ugggghh... Port Coquitlam/PoCo's H.A chapter clubhouse located directly right across the highway/street from Pickton farm gate/entrance, near the current Home-Depot's parking lot. Not certain if theyve moved since then? Might still be there currently.... At that party I'd also seen a fairly well known Canadian politician there too when he/she was young & attending local university @ the time....Hmmm?..Kinda ODD eh? Give 'On The Farm' a read. Excellent, well researched n' written. No too mention THICK book written on the topic. There was ALOT more goin down with all those disappearances & murders than just the Pickton Brothers themselves. Highly recommended book....

its such a moral conundrum because it sounds like that guy killed dozens or how many pictures were on that poster like 100? ,,, it's so crazy, at some point it seems like there can hardly be anything gained by keeping him alive until he dies of natural causes and primitive justice works out to be justice for so many people. We like to think that people in prison only need some opportunity to turn around and work together to build a brighter future but sometimes it's hard to understand how someone can do what they did in the first place. A wild animal can kill out of desperation but to serial kill in a fetish , that's someone who went out of their way to take advantage of civil structure. There's no way to justify that behavior as someone just doing what they think is best.
