Installing three levels of camper van conversion insulation. Firstly, a sound insulation product to reduce road noise. Followed by the main insulation into the panels, a great use of recycled bottle tops that comes in a roll. We show you how to best use it for maximum effectiveness, top tips when gluing to the panel, and what not to do. Finally, the installation of the moisture barrier. A detailed explanation of why it is to be used and advice on how to use it.

Can you tell me please, with regards the KillMat, why not cover all the panels with it rather than just partially covered? How do you decide how much needs covering?

Really enjoy your fun delivery of your content. But I have to agree to disagree on vapour barriers. Ventilation and air flow is the key. Let it breathe...

Previously I would have said 100% that what you are saying is correct. In fact at the start of the process I was quite sure we didn’t need one. I researched heavily and spoke to so many professionals. That left me at 99% sure we did need one.. The extra 1% came from watching Greg Virgoe. He nailed the need for me. Thanks for your thoughts and input, it’s very much appreciated

totally agree, funny thing is he even said that at the beginning, if you have each window on either side open you won't have condensation, that's what I do everyday/night I'm in my home on wheels, including a fan on also. You are so right! Especially when you are actually walking the walk and not just talking the talk.

Why use the recycled insulation rather than pir board? I understand its easier for the hard to get to places but it would be more efficient using it on the larger areas plusnit comes with its own vapour barrier.

Thanks for your question, simple answer is it a better use of old material ( plastic bottles) than them floating in the sea. We did consider using PIR but it’s not the easiest of materials to use on UN even surfaces. We may choose that in future builds ? ? Thanks for your comments, they are appreciated
