In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I saw the timestamp and thought that you probably got it wrong. I've watched series 7 and 1 already so I thought to myself, that can't be right. 1 episode isn't that long and color me suprised, it's actually a lot longer than I expected 😂 lol I never actually look properly on the time. I enjoy watching it that I didn't even realise it's almost an hour episode. Heck, before this is I thought 1 episode is too short! I HONESTLY WANTED IT LONGER LOL

That mayor probably missed out by saying he just ate. Jon used to be a chef, would've probably whipped up something crazy good. Also, for the record, he does do a good dolphin impression. He did it a few times in his old radio show on BBC six music. Apparently whenever a gig wasn't going well back then, he'd go for the dolphin to pull the crowd back in!

Yeah I agree. Jon's has a kind of simplistic beauty to it and would've deserved a second place. Richard's one was creative and funny and looked good too, deserved a win. (and it looked like Katherine couldn't believe that judgment either, based on the look on her face there.)

I don't always watch until the very end when the winner interacts with the prize tasks, but seeing Greg feed that pup was worth it. He definitely should have judged the dog higher, after Britain's 6th Strongest Man, it was definitely the dinner participant he was most happy to see.

There was another company doing it around this era. They were more legitimate, like they made it clear you couldn't call yourself a Lord on official documents. It was an actual Scottish castle, and they used the money for upkeep on the land. I still think it was a scam in some ways, but it wasn't the big controversy Established Titles was.

nope because the prize was the winner of the episode gets to have dinner with ALL of the guests brought in the by contestants. Since Jon brought the taskmaster as a guest then he (the taskmaster) automatically got a spot for dinner. Now if Jon brought himself in as a guest then he would have automatically been invited to dinner regardless if he won or not, thus the smart thing would have been to bring himself as the guest to dinner so he would have "won" either way.

He's not a lord. He has a lordship, which is just using an old word to say that he owns land. Anyone who owns a house or any type of land has lordship over it, meaning they have the right to decide what happens to it because its theirs. Having "lordship" over something and actually carrying the royally appointed title of Lord that entitles you to a seat in the House of Lords are two completely different things.

Every time I see the task to impress a mayor, I always think, "Why didn't any of them just pull out their phones and call up some of the most famous people on it, and do a video call?"
