In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

@@vickybabadoo9927 Noel is a surreal comedian, he created The Mighty Boosh with his comedy partner Julian Barrett and in the Mighty Boosh there are talking onions, a moon that is alive *("Hello, I'm the moon. Neil Armstrong walked on my face. He was nice.")* and a flying carpet that they use as a car. When Greg said "you don't like flights of fancy" he was mocking the fact that Noel's entire sense of humour is based on flights of fancy, surrealism, madness, weirdness, silliness.

That is part of the game - the random and unpredictable decision-making from Greg the mighty giant... Never forget that Greg was a teacher for many years before he became "famous" - that's why he is not even trying to be "objective" or "fair". (And that is a good thing in some way - because it show's us all that sometimes you fail even if you really try your hardest, which might make you feel better about your own "mistakes" in the past or even better the fact that your children are not always "succeeding" in everything...)
