I love this show! It shows the toxic hypocrisy in people, the way everyone is "dancing" around him after he became the president, really shows the worst in people.

I loved the part with the principal at his school. It also shows how universal a truth people's hypocrisy is. The cop, too who "accidentally" pulled over his father, that was hysterical.

I never would have thought that I would be watching a Ukrainian series with English subtitles (I am Mexican and my mother tongue is Spanish) and know that this man really has the president charge and at same time he is living a hell nightmare along with his people. I really want them to be victorious defending their homeland rights with the least human losses as possible. I send you blessings from Mexico! Keep strong 💪💪💪 Ukraine!!! God bless you!!

Hahaa... I did laugh! This is indeed an entertaining show. To be honest, because of the Ukraine war I came across the President of Ukraine in the news.. and I never knew about this show. I thought there's something about his face, his demeanour.. he doesn't look intimidating, instead he's like a very friendly person and he looks really innocent & photogenic in my opinion. Out of curiosity I watched more videos about the conflict, and lo and behold, he was actually a comedian actor, a really people-person! He is a fighter in the real world now.... wow.. a character becomes real... I'm amazed! I salute him and to the people of Ukraine, stay strong... My heart and prayers for peace be with you.... best regards...

@@queenofneverland9007 ye, I’m from Kyiv. When I was there last summer, it was beautiful. Just like in the series, even better. Everything was so peaceful and the people were so happy. All I have now are lost memories about the bright sky from back than and my beautiful city. I’ll visit it again as soon as the war is over. I really hope Ukraine will stay Ukraine🇺🇦

I started watching this series after getting to know about Zelensky's personal history and career. Absolutely surreal experience watching it now, as I'm simultaneously watching his posts since Putin invaded Ukraine. What is happening is terrible, and the courage and determination of both Zelensky & the Ukrainian people is truly humbling. So once in a while, as I'm taking a break from reading the news, I come here and spend a few moments of laughter at the wry humour of the series, watching Zelensky looking relaxed and happy, and Kiev looking beautiful, and I keep hoping that today will be the day that this horrible nightmare stops.

It's really devastating to watch him here and then on Instagram in real time, like, wondering whether places they are showing are even still standing. And seeing him here being, you know, funny of course and in real life, in the grimmest possible situation. I want to see him and his whole country happy again.

ТНТ говорит, что обещание показать весь сериал и последующее снятие с эфира после первого показа - это типа их изначально запланированный маркетинговый ход для продвижения их видеоплатформы PREMIER. Только зачем продвигать эту видеоплатформу с помощью "Слуги народа", если весь сериал давным-давно уже выложены в ютуб... ТНТ ещё и вырезал шутку про "Путин - хубло"... В общем это двойной зашквар ТНТ

Wow... He's actually an amazing comic and an actor. I just found out this amazing show and the fact that his show is him becoming the president, and next year he becomes one irl. Can't make this up if u wanted too. As an Indian who has no knowledge of ukrainian Society, politics, this just blows my mind. Also, my heart goes out to the Ukrainians. Прочел комментарии ниже и сделал выводы, что сериал-то коммерческий, хотя на политической подоплеке. Весь смысл ребят из 95-го квартала и заключается в создании хорошего, качественного продукта, который будет интересен людям. Они постарались и сделали чудесный сериал со счастливым концом. Браво!!! Я лично даже иногда плачу, когда смотрю некоторые сцены. Спасибо ребята!

А самое главное, надо нести в массы идею борьбы с корупцией, идею устройства государства нормальную по закону и совести и высмеивать все пороки общества. I'm not positive it'll work, but I read an article where the journalist mentioned turning on "auto-translate" (in the gear menu) on files that didn't have English subtitles and said it worked well enough. Until better subtitles are available, that's worth a try.

I am torn. From one side I'm really enyoing this show - it's really funny! From the other side I see all these places and buildings and I'm constantly thinking if they still exist... And watching Mr Zelenski is both fun and sad, because I'm scared for his life the entire time :( I'm atheist but last night I was spoking to something that might existing to protect this man... Finally English subtitles! I literally watched the first 4,5 episodes without understanding a word except da, njet and spasiba. Luckily the physical comedy and the facial expressions of the actors were great enough to keep me watching. The Swedish people stand with Ukraine! We hear you and we believe you. And look at this gorgeous city - now it's in flames ! All that art , all that life....If that's not worth fighting for, I don't know what is. It's the obligation of the so called free world to not stop until this nation is free for good. Period. At 12 minutes he basically says it all, the reason we are where we are as society.
