Major collision in Niagara, Ontario on the QEW EB near Jordan Road in Lincoln. A car reportedly rear-ended a van that was stopped at a high-rate of speed, trapping multiple occupants and resulting in several injuries. An extensive extrication was required to free the trapped patients and an air ambulance attended the scene for one critically injured occupant. The EB QEW was closed for several hours as police investigated the crash.
Lincoln Fire Rescue, Niagara EMS, the OPP and Ornge air ambulance attended the scene. Four people transported to hospital; one with critical injuries.
