While we wait for Christ’s return, Christians should practice fasting in order to feed our spirits, reveal what controls us, and meditate on the glory of God.

Right when he said "every time the stomach rumbles that's an invitation to pray" at 42:55, my stomach rumbled as I'm currently on a fast. God is truly awesome.

Wow. Thank you for this!! I must admit Ive fallen into those categories of people who fast that you mentioned.. either I dont need to fast or I gotta fast to control God. Woop! But this together with other sermons have been a blessing in my fasting journeys!! Also, you’re funny. I hope God lets me attend your church in the future!!

at 18:51 matt says"you dont need to consecrate yourself before God, because Jesus has come"..... really?.... The TRUTH WRITTEN by GOD(THRU THE WORD)..... AFTER Jesus 1st COMING--> [1Pe 1:16 KJV] 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
