Satisfying & Relaxing Terrarium Art

I typically would do a video like this as a voice over or something of that nature and button it up into a short presentation. Although I like to make videos in that way, they don't show the beauty of the process itself, which I think is very important.
Admittedly this video didn't turn out how I initially planned, but it still does a good job fulfilling my vision. Originally there wasn't going to be music and it would be considered an ASMR video. Unfortunately I could not remove all of the background noise in post and I found it to be very annoying. That's part of the reason why most of my videos have been scripted as of late, but that's a topic for another time.
I personally view terrariums as an art form and I wanted to showcase the process in that way. I think people tend to look past the process (for most things) and only want results. The process is often just as beautiful as the outcome.
If you have any comments, suggestions or questions, leave them down in the comments! Also for additional content like this, photos of my terrariums, projects sneak peeks and more, follow me on Instagram @SerpaDesign. / serpadesign

I tried something a little different this week and I hope you like it! Unfortunately it didn't turn exactly how I wanted, but it still fits into my vision. My goal was to showcase the entire process of making a terrarium, for the sake of relaxation. Although it didn't turn out perfect, I think this is one of the most important terrarium videos I've made to date. Let me know what you think!

I'd say that with a video like you would want to consider the full experience the viewers are getting. Running ads definitely detracts from the experience, as necessary as they are for someone putting so much time and money into what they create. I think that with your quality of content, average views, and number of videos you might want to consider using sponsors when creating something artistic like this in the future. I love the video and encourage you to continue treating your work as art.

I really dig it! Re ads: I think you can now choose to run a few ads back to back before a video instead of putting them in between - might be better for this style of video where interruptions are jarring?

SerpaDesign I found it very interesting to see how you do things, it's very much like how I do things but more organized haha. Definitely enjoyed this video and I like this style of filming a build, I would definitely watch more of these. All of your videos seem relaxing and artistic to me by the way. Hope you have a wonderful day man

I think these should be saved for "special" builds. Every once in a while. Also I think you could just make a shorter video, but more informative and narrated version on the same terrarium. Then you could add one advertisement at the beginning and/or end of the longer ones. Another thing that I think you should make would be a riparium with multiple water pools at different levels. ( like a stream or overflowing dams ) But I do like these style of videos. Keep it up! : )

I am a roof gardener of 63 and I am from India. After whole day gardening, seek something best which can relax me. Your video or work, what it may be, is of that kind. Regularly I can’t watch your video, but whenever I get some quality time to make my mood I watch your video. How cool and calm you are! Your work is just a film which rotates before my eyes. Keep going. Stay safe and healthy. Thanx a lot for gifting us such videos.

Everything is so nice and neat and in order. The fish add to the ambiance. I would so feel tranquil and relaxed and able to think on a deeper plane if I had a room like yours. It makes me want to go find a beach with all the dry wood and different earthy rocks and sand that you label so meticulously. I am in love with your tranquil space. Thank you for taking the time to show us as you pull each labeled container. You not only showed us how to accomplish this but you also showed us how to organize so nicely. You`ve inspired my heart so much. The pebbles you used in this look like they came from the upper coastal or river area in northern California, the jadeite, etc, and you mentioned manzanita in another video which is native to that place, I miss No. Cal. so much, now I live in a starker, much bleaker and colder zone in Northern New England, and just happen to have a container just like the one you are using... maybe I`ll put the No. Cal. little stones I collected and kept and some of the shells, or fossils to create a cliff beach scene like the ones I wandered, beach combing out there along the rivers and the edge of the sea. It was so free feeling and solitary there, don`t know what it is like, now. Thank you for generously sharing your vision and what you have learned. Always remember that you are doing something very special for others and that you are appreciated.❤

Excellent! From watching your vids I know exactly what you were doing & didn't have to be 'told'. ;) What I really liked was watching you make decisions on what plants & extras to add. ..again w/o being told what your decision finally was. You went w/ your artistic intuition. Superb. I really loved your 'making a free' terrarium video & think that's where I'm gonna have to start. Time for a trek to the woods.

Wow, I was going to say what a connoisseur you are but I changed that to curator...your supplies are impressive and wonderful! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely and gentle process, I am motivated to make one of these. Being and artist type I never was organized but I shot down that myth, and now I am and it makes everything so much more enjoyable and relaxing...

@Milagros Peña Seguramente que tu haces igual que él. ¿Me equivoco? Fui a tu canal para espiar: Primer vídeo no se puede reproducir por derechos de copyright. ¿vaya saber qué has subido a la red! Se puede ver el vídeo de tu amado pueblo y el de la ansiedad por comer está mal editado: no hay sincronía entre audio y vídeo. Si, Si, soy ignorante en una infinidad de temas. Por eso no puedo ser perfecto. Saludos ✌🏻

Hand's down one of the best artists I've enjoyed with plant sculpturing in a long time. My heart enjoys every footstep in the journey you take us through from knowledge, skill and advice. Complimented by one of the most content humble creature's I've observed in a long time. If only more could engage in such a selfless enjoyable hobby, hat's off to you sir you inspire and educate many. Thank's for that and keep up the good work

Can we get a tour of your place?! The large stacked fish tank looks super impressive, almost like you made it out of an existing credenza or something? Super cool. Idk what was more relaxing/satisfying...the terrarium build or the organization and environment the build took place 😍
