Just look at the precision of that Serpent that was on the track. That is real on-road RC Racing. I had one and I know how they are. Best on road 8th scales on the market. It's so cool to see the amount of engineering required for such a high speed nitro car. The front one way diff was something i have never seen before. I was really impressed with how the body mount takes the downforce without pushing down the suspension. I have never really been into on road rc but I might have to pick up a on road nitro. Prolly not one that is 800 dollars tho 😂

Hey brother I love this content on the Serpents and these crazy 1/10 and 1/8 on roads. Nova Rossi is amazing. I had a .12 in a TC3 and a Karma .21 in an old inferno buggy both were amazing to run. People don’t realize how well these high end engines tune and hold a tune. Hey are you looking to sell a 1/8 serpent hahah 🤑😈🇨🇦🤣👍?? Must get my hands on one eventually. Time to scour eBay again. I’m laid off work for now so got to be careful but I can always sell some electrics haha

I'm in the process of building a Mugen on road nitro and I am so surprised by how different these work compared to nitro buggies/truggies. They sit crazy low at stock and have such little suspension travel. I thought I built it wrong initially

Had a 966e with a tekin 6s setup. And a 960 novarossi. Both didn't like a parking lot haha. Burned my clutch with the Stones in the belt in the rear. Edit: Hahahaha exactly what happend at 7.20

Novarossi hands down has some of the best quality engines. O.S. is another great engine.

I’d love to watch these things in person but it’s seems like all the videos I see of them racing are overseas.

Hey dude i was wondering if the viper is just shifting so smoothly you cant tell it hits second. Ive seen other youtubers have a similar situation in which first gear was so short that the torque of the motor made it feel nonexistent. Either way sweet vid and sweet car man.

I have an xray rx8 its also a 1/8 onroad. It fast around corners. The technique is of driving it is only use brakes in The straights before cornering, not while you’re driving in the corners. The handling characteristics of these cars are very twitchy, its not something You would recomend for a beginner. I actually had an old 1/8 nitro Picco integra as my starter car, and that gave me A LOT of headache. These cars are fun. But you need proper roads for it, but you can turn it into a basher or a practice car by covering holes in The underside with lexan. The rear Drivebelt is most prone to pebbles as that almost killed The only remaining belt of my old Picco Integra.

Hey my man I was thinking of buying a nitro any reccomendations for a newbie beginner I know all the procedures AA batteries At least 16 to 20% Nitro Put first for AA batteries in Try working it and see if everything works (Steering) Also buy an average starter pack Put fuel in to fuel bottle then open the lid of the petrol container and pour in till full or nearly full.open the side up a little bit pressure the straw to get the fuel to go. Apply glow stick to glow plug if it lights up red then it’s fine.(Font Touch). Apply more pressure with your mouth for fuel to get to engine.open carbonater opened a little bit push glow plug into engine starter and pull the string to try and start the engine. Too much fuel means the string will be to tight and you will have to unscrew. Then pull the string so the oil will come out and you can clear the engine you can also put a cloth on there and it will be directly spat out onto the cloth. Then put the glowplug back in. Make sure it’s a little bit open to get it started as it’s easier. Keep the car running for at least two tanks of fuel with a fan blowing at it so it doesn’t over heat this is called the first and the second run. On the third run push it to full throttle on the floor for about no more than 1 second after 4-5 tanks of fuel you can hit the gas. You may only need to tune once. Normally fine out of the box just the idle mixture that needs to be adjusted. If it dies then it’s too lean so you turn the other screw. Anti clockwise leans it clockwise richens it. You should do the idle first. Only adjusted abou 1/8th of a turn at a time. Batteries should only last for 1/2 hours at a time if the batteries die the car won’t stop and will crash into something causing major damage. Cleaning Use after run oil means your engine will be looked after properly. Remove your nitro engine glow plug Add about 3-5 drops of after run oil then pull on your nitro engine pull starter then place in your glow plug. Remember to maintain and clean your RC model keeping it clean will mean it will have a longer life. The less dirt you have on it the more performance you will get always clean your vehicle after every running time take a cloth and clean your RC veichle. On the nitro engine you will see an air filter all nitro engines have an air filter the air filter will remove any dust or dirt in the air that goes into your engine after every hour of running time is firstly remove your air filter secondly remove the sponges from your air filter thirdly wash your air filter and your sponges then apply some air filter oil to the top and lastly replace your air filter. Next you can check if all the screws on your RC car are tightened and bolted on correctly and finally have fun with your veichles. Before you run your car you should always check your electronics when you turn on the vehicle all three lights should sign if just the green and the red ones shine you can still play if just the red shines don’t play that means low battery. The radio The steering trim knob and the the steering dual rate knob shown by the st.d/R Steering trim does the way the vehicle tracks steering dual point is an endpoint adjustment for your steering it’ll control how much throw your steering has both left and right the more you dial up the more steering you have the more you dial it down the less steering you’ll have which will be good on high speed manoeuvres so you’ll have a little bit less error when your up on speed. You have a steering servo that’s a channel one and the throttle is channel 2 third channel is used for accessories

Ok. Where too start. If you add and a stinger too the outlet you drastically change the tune of the motor. You should run without it too get the full use of your tune pipe. Did not see you run the motor in. The gearbox will only start shifting correctly when the top end is leaned out (that is if you put it together correctly) Excellent brand Serpent. Had a few myself. The way you ran that Ison, in my experience, you have already destroyed a R7000.00 motor(south african rand). Serpent are years ahead of anything TRAXXAS and HPI. Those are almost TOY HOBBY GRADE compared to SERPENT. the kits alone are 1k you get a rtr for 600$ imagine how cheap the engine must be in those?

Fail! shifting is adjusted from a hole in the flywheel, NO NEED TO REMOVE THE TRANSMISSIONN *Pay attention to one or two holes in the spur gear aluminum plate, align w the hole in the two black shoes to adjust spring tension! And yes, it is like a HPI or any other 2-speed transmission, nothing Ferrari about it, the clutch, that is another deal, a pain to set right, but you did not work on the clutch so does not pertain to your fail troubleshooting and comments.
