Thank you for your reaction, Johan💙 I had so much fun!!😆😄😍 The reason why there are only two members left in TVXQ! is because…(There must be a lot of mistakes in the writing, I hope it gets delivered well) Three members (XIA Junsu, Micky Yucheon, Hero Jaejoong), excluding the current two members of TVXQ!, filed an unfair exclusive contract dispute against SM Entertainment on July 31, 2009. In the mid-2000s, each idol agency used a wide variety of contracts. It was an environment where idols couldn't say anything even if they made unfair contracts. The terms of TVXQ!’s contract were a 13-year long-term contract with only a week off a year. (two years of military service were not included) Of course there was no standard contract law at that time, but BIGBANG was on a 5-year contract and 2PM was on a 7-year contract. If album was sold less than 500,000 copies, all profits went to the company. Even if more than 500,000 albums were sold, only 10 million won per member was settled, when the next album was released. The copyright of the members' own songs was also owned by SM. They could not resist the broadcasting and album activities required by the company. For five years, they slept two hours a day and released 50 albums and about 200 songs. After working for five years like that, the amount they settled was only 300 million per member. And they had to pay a penalty of 800 billion won to leave the company. Finally they won the case after many twists and turns. They came out as JYJ after leaving TVXQ!. However SM abused its power to intimidate broadcasters to keep JYJ out of the music show. They had been active in Japan for a while, but were disturbed again by SM. Eventually, they went their separate ways. P.S. Thanks to JYJ, a seven-year standard contract practice was created in the entertainment industry, which greatly helped improve the treatment of idols. As someone who has been a TVXQ super fan since their debut....I am so happy to see someone react basically how I did to them when I was 14/15 years old. I fell for them so hard and so fast it was insane!! TVXQ were and still are something so immensely special - they are the gods of kpop for a reason. They still put out banger after banger 20 years into their career. Early TVXQ (2003-2009) output is nostalgic as all heck for me and I adore everything from that time frame. I do also highly recommend that you react to their duo output (2011-present) as they are still just as amazing as just a group of two. Recommend: Something, Spellbound, Humanoids, Guilty, Hot Sauce, Parallel Parallel, and their most recent releases Down and Rebel.

Finally, TVfXQ is here. They have popular songs like Rising sun(2 peformed with RIIZE) and Mirotic. But the true essence of TVXQ lies in ballads such as Love in the ice, Tonight. Especially their Japanese songs(Bolero, Wasurenaide, Forever love..) -truly epic. I adore their beautiful harmonies, unique voices, and the deep emotions infused in their music(also good looking) I understand they can't reunite anymore, but I still miss the 5 of them... Long story short. Jaejoong, Micky and Xia left SM cause unfair idol contract consist of 13-16 years long. So they got the balls to sue SM and won. Some of Japan entertainment and SM are buddies and so they blacklisted them for 15 years from broadcasting. So basically, without these three guys, all the group that came after them would have suffered. They also made the Korean gov to change the actual law to accommodate fairness with idols.

Okay, OKAY. I was not expecting this to be a group you react to. They were my first introduction to kpop back in 2004 and the first group I ever fully fangirled over.
