A testament to how well the 70s-2000s toy makers did their job; all these years later those kids are still buying the toys! I actually feel for todays kids who are missing out on hands-on play and using their imagination.

This is why I still collect the line because they started doing older nostalgia figures if not for this I would have just stuck with my 3" figures and been happy . Now with this and my hiss tanks cobra will be a force to be recon with . I May start posting up some future videos soon again and playing with my collect :-) .

Looks great! I went to a vintage toy con yesterday and bought a 1986 Serpentor with Air Chariot. I wasn't planning on buying vintages Joes (or Cobras), but I couldn't resist this one.

I’m a new subscriber. What a really good review ..I just got mine this year 2023. I opened it up right away put it all together. Going to buy another one to keep in the box because it is so cool. You probably already have done it, push down on the sides not on the head of the cobra and it’ll pop in a second time and you won’t have that gap it’ll be flush.

Great review Jay and enjoyed watching your hunt for this too. I wasn’t impressed with the GI Joe Classified line at first but they’ve won me over with more recent figures like this. I finally managed to track one of these down and also have started to catch up on some of the older figures I missed out on.

Hey Jay I just got my email from Hasbro pulse they are getting ready to ship my suppentor I am very excited. I enjoyed your video so serpenter is one of my favorite figures from back in my childhood. I remember holding the box on the way home from the store I believe we got it at Kmart or maybe Hills, but holding the box and looking at the artwork the front the back I was so excited my grandmother got it for me and she told me I can't open it until I get home due to losing parts in the car. I remember getting home taking him out of the box putting the air Chariot together and just having a high old time reenacting scenes from the cartoon making my own adventures. I can't wait to get the classified version of serpentor just to relive that experience. I enjoyed your video it's great seeing that there's still a passion for GI Joe so many years later from our childhood. Thank you for everything you do it's always a pleasure watching you on KZfaq. I’m definitely getting it for my Gijoe classified series collection to display with Cobra forces but that cobra snake accessory is supposed to be Cobra Commander as a snake from the movie this I command

Its funny I don't see it that way, the colours are not right, and the Hasbro GI Joe team didn't mention it on the livestream (Pulse Con) they just said it was his PET King Cobra. But LOTS of people will use this as their stand in Cobra Commander Transformed. Totally expecting people to re-colour him as well.

It is strange that this figure is so popular, I was born in 1978 and gi joe was my thing! Serpentor wasn’t a figure I liked ! Cobra was always the big guy to me in the 80’s

If you were a fan of the cartoon and followed the journey to "BUILD" Serpentor it was quite the series and introduced Sgt. Slaughter so really made those two rivals SUPER popular!

I wasn't planning to get this since I missed the preorders, but I did a random search on GameStop and found that some stores near me were carrying it in stock. The first store I went to had sold out of it, but the second one had it. The price still grinds my gears, but it's still cheaper than getting it from Hasbro Pulse or eBay so I took the plunge. I can't go any higher, though. Just can't do it.

Awesome review! Just curious you mentioned heating up the Serpentor because of the joints were stiff. Is this something you would normally do with your new figures?

Basically if you feel stiffness or like something is "torquing" the peg/ball and not actually rotating on it heat it up. I recommend microwaving a cup of water 3 to 5. Dip for a few moments. Try to move the joint. If it moves correctly you're good to go. If not rinse and repeat.

@@wwefan4life274 no prob! Some use a hair dryer but you got to be real careful depending on the hair dryer. Some of those things get insanely hot and can warp plastic. I've done it lol. Good for stress cracks though.

They should've given you extra hands opposed to the standard cowl that kills the head articulation. It bothers me seeing trigger hands being used to hold anything that isn't a gun.

I think its not crooked, I think the Ball Joint is in a slightly different position. All I really need to do is move it

It's a new scale, and its not for everyone. Playsets and vehicles are becoming an issue for sure. But Larger scale means more detail and grown up hands are bigger than kids hands 😜

In this case, its an exclusive and if something missing you can call Hasbro direct and get a replacement, but yeah I am NOT a fan of Plastic Free Packaging. I mean, the toys are MADE of PLASTIC lol.

Collecting action figures and watching these videos are a form of blasphemy, witchcraft and idolatry. If you're triggered by what he's saying, then you probably shouldn't be watching KZfaq, Streaming videos, Netflix, Amazon etc or any other media. Just saying, hypocrisy is a sin too...

Idolatry is worshiping something other than God aswell as that one thing being the center of your life, what you think about and love the most. And you can 100% watch youtube as long as you watch something that isnt against God. Not triggered it just erks me when I hear it, im not calling names or being rude. Triggered is getting angry and rude at somebody because they are offended. Hope this helps you understand :)
