Sorry but a close up of the knife will show you, that you will take the serration off the knife, making it sharp but removing the sawing functionality to cut through bread. You will over time turn it into a straight knife.

Yes, exactly. It seems you've either got to get into each serration and individually file/sharpen it on the beveled side to preserve/restore the sawteeth, or take it to someone with the right tools to do so.

Okay... This is 6000 grit folks. Before you even notice wear that would be noticable to the eye you've gone through like 100 of these belts. Probably 100 years worth of sharpening!

Not for me I’ve got a leatherman wingman and have sharpened the serrations 4 times with the Ken onion and it’s been totally fine might be true in what you’ve saying but it’s not happened to me

in the manual, it tells you to use the outdoor knife guide, and use the serrated guide. Why did you not follow the manual?

For the bread knife that I was sharpening, using the outdoor knife guide (like the manual shows) would be correct. Sharpening it without the guide (as I did in the video) is also correct. This serrated bread knife is perfectly flat on its flat side, so both approaches work (with or without guide). I will be shooting a new video on serrated knives soon that will show additional tips and special situations that should help.
