Service Dog Gear Haul! | Our SD Gear Collection

I’ve received several requests for a service dog gear haul, so this video gives a tour of our SD gear collection! These are the gear items that Bailey uses most frequently when she is working public access as a service dog. We show off her leash, collar, vest, harness, backpack, doggie booties, and more! All of this gear isn’t 100% necessary, but we have found them all to be very useful and good quality.

My service dog in training has a onetigris vest but without the large pockets and a homemade service dog vest the I made myself and with other leashes, booties, jackets and rain jackets all the normal stuff and watching your vids really make my more motivated to keep going in her training😊😊

Congrats on getting a sd! That’s so exciting! I’m getting a prospect in 2 weeks so a long way to go before getting to sd status but exited for the journey

I love her vests! I can't use gear like this on the SDiT I'm puppy raising.☹ Its strict so he wears his balck collar (he a yellow lab golden retriever standard poodle mix) his in training vest and he wears booties bc it gets cold Pupdate: He is going to campus in a week! Wish Auggie luck! Getting another puppy soon ☺

Yea, organizations can be strict because they want to avoid different types of issues, like misrepresenting the organization or dog. Thanks for your dedication to be a puppy raiser!

As a new service dog handler I found your video very interesting. What did you say the name of the 6 foot leash you could use cross body was called I’ve been looking for a hands-free option that I could also use for healing when needed. My dog the same way she doesn’t enjoy drinking at the collapsible water bowls either and I also found that the clips meant to go on harnesses broke super easily as well.

That is so cool. Happy New Year 2021. Are there any types of lighted items that people can get for their service dogs so at night they can be more visible for safety?

I haven’t seen light up gear specifically for SDs, but reflective strips on the sides of vests and harnesses (P&L has some) and dog tags that light up look like good options! You can also find LED dog leashes but those don’t seem too practical.

Thanks for your video. I'm curious about the collar and comfort pads you have on the ecollar. Can you tell me more about those, where you got them and how you attach them to the ecollar?

I got them from ecollar technologies, and we really love them. The titanium is hypoallergenic, and the comfort pads distribute the pressure of the collar so they are more comfortable overall. I just unscrewed my other contact points and attached the comfort pads according to a video from the ecollar company. I have the red vest with service dog velcrow on the sides how do I get those bags to put on him and would it work with my vest for my service dog

Hello i am 22 I 've been reading service dog for 4 year service dog Your favorite is service dog breeds for beginners for social anxiety? Looking for a puppy or an older dog as my service dog? I'm thinking a golden retriever or Australian shepherd or or f1 flat coat golden doodle or fb1 golden doodle I have snchoodle and golden doodle I l love agility course and freestyle and dog training My tasks is A puppy that trains for orbit and blocks for social anxiety and stops me when I lose my temper. I did read all service dogs laws I like mixed breeds and almost all purebreds.

Not entirely true about vests on tribal land they dont fallow ADA law and can make up their own rules on our local tribe's land all Service Dogs must be marked by a vest or harness.

Service dogs don't have to wear a vest collar or leash to identify him/her has a sd

@@bookworm28427 yes but tribes are exempt from following the ADA therefore can make their own rules and even exclude service animals from establishments on tribal land it sucks but thats the way it is
