The back-of-the-box storybook is a very good idea. I don't know if it's been done before, or if it's new to this product line, but it seems like one of the best innovations in cereal incentives to come along in a long time.

Though not original, General Mills should do a Cookie Monster cereal by using the Cookie Crisp pieces and add some multigrain Letter C shape pieces on it as well.

The Furry Muppet you're talking about in the "Cereal Girl" Sesame Street music video is not any particular character. She's just one of hundreds of random incidental characters they created in the various segments in the show over the years. They are called, "Anything Muppets". The look of the test Sesame Street Cereal reminds me of The Winnie The Pooh "Honey B's " Cereal.

I think this cereal meant to coincide with the movie coming out in 2022 by Warner Bros.

Maybe they'll make a new cereal to promote that new "Sesame Street" movie that's currently in the works.

WOW What a big miss by Kellogg's back in the 90's .....as well as GMills today. I guess my ad marketing background keeps coming through. Anyone that knows Sesame Street's history and family of characters knows that Cookie Monster's most famous act was singing his song, "C is for Cookie and That's Good Enough for Me!" I mean how did both companies miss that????????!!!! How easy that would have been to have one of the flavors be chocolate chip or cinnamon "or any flavored" cookie and then have the Cookie Monster on the box saying "C is for Cookie...." Seems like a huge missed opportunity and to depict him mentioning anything else but cookies is just proof that the people behind their marketing were clueless with the show's deep roots and its character's personalities. As for General Mills,...why in the world would you not at least have "The Count" as the one of the characters for the numbered cereal pieces????Cmon people!!! Do your friggn homework! To be fair as well, the book on the back of the box was a wonderful touch and I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge that.
