Session 6: Chain Rule for function of several variable & how branch diagram help to remember formula

In this video we will see the concept of Chain rule. First we will see the notion for one variable case. Then slowly we will generalize it to more than one variable case.
We will see how branch diagram, sometimes also called as the diagram, helps us to remember the formula of chain rule for more than one variable case.
I have referred book Thomas calculus, one of the standard book which engineering students refer. One can find this topic in 14rh chapter of the book.

Ans to homework problem Here (w')t= diff. 'w' w.r.t. 't' 1) (w')s = (w')r = 2*e^(2(r+s)) 2) (w')t = t^(3)*e^(t)*tan(t)(4+t+t*tan(t))+ t^(4)*e^(t) 3) (w')r = 2(r+s^(2))+3s*cos(rs)*(sin(rs))^(2) (w')s = 4s(r+s^(2))+3r*cos(rs)*(sin(rs))^(2).

sir what if w is depending on x, y and further it is dependent on r,s and r,s are dependent on t ?
