Thanks again to Tim for giving up his time to do this. I'm so happy to be able to share this interview with you all.
This is one of the first interviews I've ever conducted and I am very excited to do more in the future. In this video, Tim Pierce discusses his thoughts on the 'golden age' of session work, as well as his views on recording parts from home vs in an LA recording studio with a live band.

Ross, You Rock! Great to see two really groovy dudes get to chat. One can't overstate the Genius playing of Tim, but that doesn't diminish your own Amazing Talent. You are an inspiration to all of us introverts and seekers of 6 string ability and creativity. May you have many years of teaching, playing, and sharing. Thanks for the Vid and Stay Well.

Tim Pearce. No jazz. No classical. But he's the man you go to. He's phenomenal, teaching too. Generous. Ross you also, a whizz. Thanks both of you.

Oh my goodness, Ross! You are flying, pal! Even I haven't met Tim yet in my 45 years in the industry (although we have close friends in common). So I'm both jealous and bursting with pride for you. It's really incredible how far you've come. I said it back at your first ever video and I'm saying it now - you are a guitarist with a massive future and Tim clearly agrees. You don't need my or anyone's help. You're doing all this with your own drive and initiative. You go Man! You Rock! J.

A very nice interview - great to hear Tim speak about all things music! Thanks especially to you for conducting this interview too, as it takes a lot to get far out of your comfort zone and be social and gregarious with many people for an extended time in a foreign country!

Tim is such an inspiring and extremely modest player. Its amazing the number of tunes that Tim has recorded. This was a great interview and thanks for sharing... PS: I absolutely love that PRS Hollowbody. Looks like a 594 with Piezo too which is only available through Private Stock. I have the 594 and a Hollowbody ii but having both of these in one is a dream combination and Tim has one - WOW

OH and Ross back yourself man. You don't have to be out there like Jared Dines or Stevie T. The best players are the most humble - Petrucci, Vai, Satch, Guthrie etc. Just be yourself man and keep the content real. You don't need to have the persona of an MTV presenter. Be true to yourself, you are ace.
