Күн бұрынThis video was filmed before my video on the replay editor. Which is why the few tricks I filmed didnt have the best filming.
In this video I skate the old school board! Or shaped board or cruiser board, whatever you want to call it. It's definitely cool getting tricks on a board like that. I thought it could be fun to focus on some manual tricks, since I had a flip in flip out manual challenge. Even though it glitched out a lot of times I still think it's really cool to have these kind of challenges in the game :)

@@giacomo1215 I'm just bummed that it seems fundementally at their core they're not thinking about the feeling of being on a skateboard, that Skate 1 did quite well. Weight, momentum etc. I'm sure it'll all start looking better with animations etc but if they're not focusing on the feeling of it, then it'll never get there

I totally get what you mean! But give it time, I'm certain they will work on that too, they have a golden opportunity in their hands, I doubt they'll overlook such an important point :)

I like how the character kinda winds up before doing a flip trick with a spin! 😂 looks so real! Can't wait till they get everything all released...grabs and whatever else they are adding!!!

I wish they would map the reverts to rb and lb on the ground and not lt and rt because I always accidentially revert while slightly adjusting my direction

PC is way better than Xbox. I can play every new game at ultra setting at 130fps with no lag and it coated thw same price as a new console

I really liked the video. It's really nice to see that someone like nightspeed also struggles with the controlls. At first i didn't liked the controlls, but after a few days it get's really nice!

Imagine customisation from choosing bearings or trucks that would have different outcomes depending on how we setup the boards. I also saw someone type in saying that your skills are amateur at the beginning but eventually your Ollie’s get higher as you gain experience...probably just a rumour but damn that would feel very realistic

Maybe it's just me, but watching someone play in auto catch mode isn't very enjoyable. A lot of the fun of this game for me comes from the difficulty of landing tricks in manual catch mode, so when I know that you don't have to put any thought into landing your tricks because the game does it for you it saps out some of the enjoyment I would get from your session videos. I enjoyed the last 2/3s of your video more than the first third because I know how difficult it is to catch flip tricks into/out of mannys! The nollie hard flip into manny revert 360 shuv was insane!

I completely agree with this, and... I think it will be kind of a problem with this game? The manual catch is a lot more interesting, it's really where the core of the gameplay is at, because the game doesn't start an auto pre rendered trick, it's you who actually plays with the physics of the bord and try to land stuff with that, it feels a lot like playing with finger skates, and it's a really unique thing about this game. Playing with auto is just a more complicated EA Skate. And what I meant by the fact that it will be a problem is that, other than some obvious too clean catches sometimes, we don't really know if the person is playing on auto or manual (unless it's really exagerated and the person lands tons of tricks in a few secs), and since a lot of the focus around this game is to share clips, videos and stuff about what we manage to do in the game, it's... annoying that we can't know for sure if the person actually catched it manually or "cheated" with the auto mode, so, some stuff we see in videos could be as super impressive as well as just not interesting at all, I don't really like that.

I played Skate recently, so trying to learn these controls has been a nightmare so far lol. I'm getting the hang of it though. Excellent environment.

holidayonion the more difficult thing is to really handle the 3d environment,doing a trick is something landing it is another thing...once you master both you will have lots of pleasures doing lines.

I haven't played Skater XL but I can say Session is a lot of fun. Like a fuck ton of fun. It is very hard yes and it definitely needs work (it's early access so what do you expect). Refardless, it's fun and for $20, I suggest it, especially considering it will only get better.

There is couple of glitches, but I think otherwise this game looks and feels really realistic. Only thing is that I don't like is the rotating speed and the feeling in the air (you can spin too much too easily.) I think the feeling in Skater xl is better for that. Would be great if you could adjust the sensitivity. Example 1-10. Like it would be 180 till 80% but fully pressed it would do the 360. Example: You can do too much rotation on fliptricks in real life but you won't do a 360 degrees by accident!

@@CYSA2122 No it isn't. It's only exclusive for a limited time. 3 months after the full release. After those 3 months it will eventually come to PS4 and possibly Switch.

@@StreetRallyAsh Not really they only signed an exclusive deal for 3 months after full release. After those 3 months is up it will come to other consoles. Creā-ture Studios said they want to get it on PS4. On the Steam page for Session the developers said they plan to release the full version in 6 to 12 months. So it will start coming to PS4 and other systems in 9 to 15 months.

On the Steam page for Session, Creā-ture Studios says they plan to only be in Early Access for 6 to 12 Months. So the full game will come out 6 to 12 months from now. It will come to consoles/systems other than Xbox One and Steam 3 months after the full release. So the earliest we will see it on PS4 and other systems will be 9 months to 15 months from now.
