This is my favorite song by Mitski. The line "I miss you more than anything" is what makes me replay it over and over, just to hear it. It makes me think of one of my previous relationships, which I still hold close to my heart but know I can't have again.

to me, this song feels like remembering a childhood core memory and reliving the memory in your head, and then remembering how fast everything went by and missing those carefree moments. i love mitski so much

My sister moved to go to college in 2019, and lately, the fact that she's gone has just really hit me. I always knew that she would live far away, but it just sunk in that we won't wake up in the same house every day ever again.
