This Doctor Who December has been amazing and a Happy New Year to everyone

I personally enjoyed this series overall. It's probably not the show's strongest series, but neither is it the weakest in my opinion. Love Jodie, love the companions (though Yaz deserves some more love from the writing), love the optimistic and hopeful tone. It's definitely different and takes some getting used to. The feeling of the show is a lot more understated than it was under Moffat, but I liked that. It felt fresh and a nice change of pace to be honest.

Wow...I can’t believe you have caught up! I’ve so enjoyed rewatching the episodes with you. Thanks for doing this...I know this is hard work...doing videos. It has brightened my days. As far as “when’s enough” as far as villians, I think the doctor decided that with the daleks a number of times... especially the time war. And he always comes back to what he said in Genesis of the Daleks when he was Four...but you’ll have to wait and see that one. I agree that Ryan and Graham were the strong points this season. I love them as companions.

THANK YOU for this lovely second Doctor Who December. It was amazing. As for this episode in general, I think I mostly echo what you said. For me, which is just a personal preference, I really miss the season-long story arcs. This more felt like a follow up to the first episode than a "series finale" if that makes any sense. But I liked it either way (though I'm not a big fan of Tim Shaw either). I'm really looking forward to the New Year's special though, as well as series 12 when that comes along. Happy New Year, Jess. Thanks for Doctor Who December. I didn't mind the blinding light in the background during the video. I thought the finale was good but, like you said, it wasn't very memorable.

Despite the flaws of this episode, I really enjoyed it as a finale. I liked Ryan and graham’s Moments, tzim-sha’s Return and his scheme, the ux and what they are, peltraki as a one-shot supporting character, the Doctor saving the planets and her final speech to the ux. Tzim-sha has become a composition of classic who villain like Magnus Greel from talons weing Chang and pirate captain from pirate planet. I’m also glad that ux redeemed herself despite being a bitch to her fellow ux. Finally, I really like human alien characters like peltraki, angstrom, Epzo, and Yoss because they intrigue me on how they’re different from humans or how they just don’t know what earth is and what humans are. happy new year, have a nice break, and hopefully when you see the special in the future you enjoy it. I mean who know's what it'll be like but I'm sure it'll be good

Thank you for this years Doctor Who December (last year’s from my perspective, as it’s already 1 January in Australia - time-space travel the long way ‘round). About today’s reaction, first of all, these are your reactions, you’ve presented a nuancesed opinion on each episode of Series 11, and I’m sure you will be just as nuancesed in your review of the overall season and New Year’s Special, next month (after your break). I’m somewhere in the middle of things that have worked, and things that have not. Some of that is down to production choices, some of that is down to fans being conditioned by the structures of the previous series of the revised Doctor Who (I.e., over-arching series plot devices and series finales). I would say that the Series 11 overarching theme was Graham and Ryan’s relationship, a lot more character driven than previous themes of the past 10 series). I’ve appreciated some of the new directions the show is (the bad guys don’t need to be killed at the end of every episode, or that the monster isn’t always evil (the spiders, the Pting or the living universe), or that the real monsters (or villains) were usually the humans. However, I do concede not everyone feels that way, and perhaps there were too many of those types of episodes this year? Anywho, I hope you enjoy your well-deserved rest. Happy New Year!

I feel like a big aspect of this series that might be, on some level, putting people off is the music. It's got good moody gravitas and gives a grungy feel to the series, but it also doesn't really have that sweeping orchestral big moving pieces that sweep the audience into the big emotional moments. I mean, we've all made fun of the "Ooooo-ooo-Oooos" but at the same time, throughout the past 11 years the music has established a feel that's been consistent since the restart. Now, on top of all the changes, the music is totally new and gives a completely tonal difference and I can't help but think that perhaps that is why people are feeling 'off' about this season in some regards.

Hello. I just wanted to write a little message. A week ago, I was watching Fan Theory react to doctor who, and they finished the 1st series and there was no more videos. I was being a little impatient, and looked for other youtubers and found you. I decided to watch your series 1 reviews, and then got immediately addicted. Here I am now, just finished watching this video and it's been a bizzare journey. In the space of a week, I've watched you gone from nearly cancelling reacting to Doctor Who but carrying on for the fans, to devoting a whole months of videos to the show. I'm so excited to go on the Classic Who adventure on this channel (even though the BBC blocked your last classic video for copyright reasons) and I've only watched a few so it will be great watching them with you. Thank you for a great week. I'm not in the best mindstate at the moment, suffering with loneliness and this has been keeping me from laying in my bed all day. You're so real, and honest (I love that you liked 'love and monsters' I thought it was the only one 😂). Anyway, thank you. You're amazing.

I feel like the season is better when realizing that the main arc was the relationship between Graham and Ryan, with this being the conclusion. Chibnall stated that he wanted this season to be more approachable to new comers without needing past knowledge, but in doing so, he turned off a lot of seasoned viewers. Hopefully season 12 will go back to form.

I think the season has some strong points and episodes, but as an opener for a new Doctor, I wish the stories and villains had been better fleshed out. Maybe Seasone 12 will be a much improved effort. Not liking that we have to wait almost two years for more, though.

Watching their relationship develop has been one of my favorite parts of this season, and I think bringing back Tim Shaw for the finale helped showcase just how far they've come.
