Ok so I legit had NO idea Cody was famous lmao His mom goes to my church and he plays the clarinet in services all the time. They filmed 2 music videos in my yard when I was like 8 and thats when I found out that he was famous.

for everyone talking about how they woman served no purpose and was just there: hear me out. the woman represents Cody's dark side, the black part of the diamond. Through the video, he's shown fighting against her and being pushed around. At 2:37,he's shown trying to make the diamond, but she pushes him down so he can't. That's the bad side trying to take over. then, at the end, he's showing acceptance that his bad side is there stating, "I love it anyway." So yes. The woman serves a purpose.

When I first heard this song my ovaries exploded, I was like 'omg I bet the music video is like totally awesome' and I always imagined him singing with like a clone of himself or an evil twin mimicking his moves, trying to prove they're better then the other be spite the fact they're complete opposites. And when it gets all quiet with the "I am human" part they they're saying a small bit about themselves. But this song is still an ovary buster, 100/10 Wpuld watch again
