The "catastrophe" is actually a garden art glass totem. They sell for $60.00 and way far above that. According to which top piece is glued on {such as a glass pie plate, shallow bowl, or flat plate} can make them a birdbath, or plant stand , or just a decorative piece in a garden. I saw them on Etsy and have made a couple of them myself. They are heavy though. I couldn't imagine shipping cost. People that have seen mine think they are beautiful. BUT one family member laughed at it. Lol. Guess they're not for everyone.
