I actually got in a space of not even over obsessing over them but just appreciating them and putting love them into each time I spray them or massage my scalp. Once I’m done I don’t add any expectations . I just allow them to grow and flourish as they will and understand they’ll be unique to their own . I feel like with this mindset they’ve been growing so much lmaooo . I LOVE them but I don’t obsess over length, look, etc. I take care of my health, body, mind and soul and I feel like they show that , so I just stay in the present with them .

Great insight! My est was a week ago Sunday! I’ve just been in hair bliss!! I definitely have fleeting “ I can’t wait” moments but unlike in my loose natural hair journey I’m embracing the here and now-including this pluck chicken phase tho I must admit I’m not really all that scalpy. My goals this year are to avoid slippage and bunching, not lose any and document the year so I can reflect on the progress!

I really didn't set any hair goals this year. Since you brought it up...I am going to look into conditioner or what type of oil I can treat my dry scalp. Especially for these winter months. My loctian told me to put sisterloc conditioner cream in a water bottle to spray my scalp. Maybe I need to spray once of week.

Ive been battling dry scalp too and the conditioner in the bottle helps. As well as the aloe vera water for irritation
