Damn, look at the difference. I’m a recovering addict and alcoholic. I was clean for 7 years and relapsed last November to March. It sucks. Doing better now-clean again and accomplishing things. Poor dude. RIP man

I gotta say, one of the more memorable scenes from that entire show was Shifty smoking crack with a gerbil or whatever, on top of the roof of the rehab facility.

I've been having a mid life crisis the last few years. My fiance's grandma died, then my dad died a week later and we went to both funerals together. Then she disappeared and I lost my job. That was almost two years ago, and the one bright side is I'm still clean since December 17, 2018, the last time I woke up on the bathroom floor with a needle in my arm. I envied that guy so much in high school. It's sad that his addiction killed him.

Addiction is like a trick candle.

I was like 12 when they were poppin, going back and watching butterfly now I can tell from the visuals they we're into drugs. I loved them when I was little, I'm 28 now and happy to see them back butterfly was a banger they got more in them.

At first sight this guys looked like a jerk but when I listen to him on this video, I realize how deep and a great guy he was. RIP.

Crazy Town are amazing. They shouldn't be one hit wonders because they have so many songs as good as Butterfly. Shifty was in a coma recently. I hope he lives for many more years.

very sad because I spent beautiful years with his music, but the truth of their lives sometimes is very bitter and they are so fragile 🥺😢🦋

This guy is great! I used to think they were a bit silly around Butterfly time, but he explained that even he didn't like how big it became, and what it did to him. Good on him for being so honest, and it seems like he has his head screwed on right. I hope he gets to keep doing what he loves - making music. Crazy Town's recent songs are quite good too, forget Butterfly and move on to their more recent stuff, it's not bad at all.

im so glad he turned his life around sure when your young people get crazy like to try all these drugs and live the fast life and party and stuff but once your older and you have kids and you do better and get your self up off the ground your very glad you dident go back to that life
