How the would you know that? I bet you didn't know that Ken Miller was written in the original script as the drummer stoner, who do you think that was? The truth is that the characters played by Seth Rogen, James Franco and Jason Segel were originally written as two characters. However, the producers loved all three actors so much that they rewrote the script so that each actor had a character written around their personality. "Seth really nails kens personality in my opinion" no one cares, your opinion is fucking pointless.

Seth was closer to the age of the Geeks, but because of his size and mature look he was cast as one of the Freaks. Of all the Freaks, he was the only one that had to have adult supervision while filming because he was under 18. Franco was 4 years older than him.

It's a great flavor of comedy, recognize that this a great role for him. He may look like he's being himself, but he's actually performing a role for this part. Fortunate for him, it was nearly Method Acting. One of the hardest aspects about being an actor is that you can tell someone isn't acting. This is his early years... check him now...

He had an ok audition. I thought he was really good on the show. The reason the people in the background are laughing like hyenas at jokes that are just ok funny is because THEY are the writers and its in their best interest to make the producers that are in the room think the material is funny. I guess I would probably do it too if it was my stuff.
@tander10110 жыл бұрын
Haha! Yeah, but Seth Rogen has that sarcastic, teenage stoner voice, which makes laughing inevitable.
@youonlyliveonce12ish4 жыл бұрын
What are you even talking about? I do not know why they were cracking up. There just end it there do not just make up an answer just cause you do not have one. Now I do have the answer. Cause he fucking explained it himself. It was method acting and he was playing a part, THOSE LINES WERE MADE BY HIM ONT HE SPOT. You realize people would figure that out in a second if writers would burst out the moment somebody said something they wrote.

sometimes i think they choose people simply because of their look and this may be one of those cases. it's not that seth was terrible, but, honestly, it seems any one of a thousand actors could have come in there and said those lines like that, if not better, but, because he's good looking and has that "stoner" edge, they picked him.

Mike Ornhole agreed. And it does make sense. Obviously he has great comic timing and a great personality which you cant just walk in off the street with. And yes, the best actors are the ones who sound natural. When people sound like they are acting its shit.
