The "trombone" you mention is actually a superbone. It has keys like a trumpet. If this helps you when figuring out the songs, the superbone is tuned to B flat.

I might be trippin but to me, Peso reminds me of Dave Mustane a lil bit from Megadeth. The high pitch raspy, growling type voice that sounds unique af. Some people hate it, but most LOVE it.
