Fun fact: these are the exact chords to a huge Brazilian hit from the 80s, Tempo Perdido by Legião Urbana. It’s a mellow Rock in 4/4 but I was singing along with your playing trying to make it and the melody really works as a tumbado. I’m amazed.

I’m not one to comment on videos unless it’s a buddy’s channel. But damn, salute brother. I’ve always wondered how music and new melodies are made. You did that in an hour ish. Bass, melody, chords, you made an entire song on your own. You have potential to at least write music for these corridos tumbados artist. And I say write because, I THINK they would rather stick to Mexican musicians (for the publicity and support) but it wouldn’t hurt to have you behind the scenes making music 🔥 plus that’s big bank right there!!

My best tip is don't let yourself get in the way. If you don't play something perfectly but the general idea is there just keep it keep creating while the momentum is there. You can always go back and fix things later.
