I wanna see a “season 2” where Seth starts with $100 and builds his way up to create a full collection as the end goal (instead of just 1 shoe like the mags)… like red October Yeezys, og 350s, Tiffany dunks, ow Jordan 1s etc. would be a long series but the point is I think part 2 should be a collection of high end sneakers rather than 1

I feel like your Platos sells things so much cheaper than other locations because they know Seth is gonna come in and buy everything up, and they know it’s the best commercial they have out.

Yup. That’s what I don’t like about the series. It’s Seth Fowler so of course he’s going to get trades in his favor and special treatment from Plato’s employees. For him it’s a win win because it’s great content and he’s making even more money than before but it’s not as realistic of a series as it should be because he has such a large following.

meh i did these kind of things during college because im broke and i need to make some good money and thrifting suddenly became a thing in my country ,and at some point my local thrift shop did notice me and keep giving info on great new stocks to pick up everytime they sort their new stocks ,so its not just about him having followers imo

Seth, with ebay you have to pay attention with the shoe box size and weight if you using a generic premade sale setup for your shoe ebay. Someone msg me their asking my i was charging $50 shipping for some used jordan 3s and i hadnt realize my shoe box dimension and weight was completely off.

Hey. Just want to say those two adapts are called auto adapts. I have the black and green pair as well as the Jordan 11 pair. The white and green pair may have some resale if you get the right size. I paid $400 for my black and green and the lowest ask is going for $550

Seth I have a question, how much do you think your youtube channel affects your ability to sell shoes. Since you have you ebay store in the description and you show the shoes in your videos. Do you think it helps you sell faster compared to someone who did this without the exposure.

It's definitely helpful for him, especially when it comes to trades. But I started this challenge as soon as I saw the first episode in the series and have been doing it since and tbh it's totally doable. My growth has definitely been a bit slower than his, but the value of my collection is around $2500 at this point. Plus it's become one of my favorite hobbies

Nah Seth’s Plato’s Closet is definitely cracked out. Low priced Jordans, having an active Instagram, actually holding shoes for someone, contacting about unclaimed shoes, selling Yeezys for $120, my Plato’s could never.

Love the series! But I can answer your question about the MNVN's, the person probably wore them twice and realized they were wearing the worlds most uncomfortable shoe. I think the BOOST is just a mirage on those. So they probably wisened up and cut their losses. I love the MNVN's but sheesh they are rough....

Some dope finds this week, but I think alot of what you bought is gonna be difficult to move. GS and the smaller sizes 5-7 just don't sell. Women don't buy used sneakers like that. I'm sure you'll sell them eventually but I bet you won't make much net profit.
