One idea I have to make the Warden skins "feel" more legendary, is to have a custom statue, you cant barely see the enemy Warden when attacking someone that indeed, have a legendary skin.

Not fun fact: Supercell lowered gem count while removing obstacles in the base. Not only are there more instances where we get xp now but we also can't get 5 gems anymore. This wasn't mentioned anywhere because they are hoping to use a "it was not intended and it is a bug" again if they receive a backlash

I have an interesting idea to the idea said in the video. What if we REMADE barbarian and archer puppets into SUPER barbarian puppet and SUPER archer puppet? Basically, those 2 heroes wouldn't spawn normal barbs and archers, they would spawn their super form (super barbs and super archers) as an active ability (of course they would not spawn the same amount of barbs or archers as barb puppets and archer puppets, but that wouldn't be a problem in my eyes). And if we would change this one fact, we would be also able to add an active ability for those 2 heroes, which would spawn like 4-14 barbs or archers (4 of them at level 1, 14 of them at level 100, every 10 levels adding one barb or archer), depending on the level of those heroes. And by that, I would kill three birds with 1 stone. Not only would I gave a purpose to use the new super puppets, making them viable at the same rate as other piece of equipments, not only would I save troop skins of barbs and archers and gave Supercell a point to make those skins, I would also REGAVE purpose to upgrade these heroes to higher levels!!!!

This is sad, i love hero equipment but they've gone too far

They shouldn't remove all the puppet equipments - Barbarian King and Archer Queen are troop based heroes, if they remove their barb & arch puppets, its a good idea. They should be able to spawn barbarians and archers regardless of the equipments selected. There's no Healer hero or a hog hero so their puppets are fine.

few ideas for the puppets that can all be added or a select few - puppet troops gain invincibility with equipment, leveling as levels go up - buff/gigabuff later stages of puppet troops idividually (except healer puppet) - hero spawns four troops no matter the level - buff puppet equipment (except healer puppet)

what about king and queen spawning barbs and archers when using the ability and the puppet equipment gets changed into spawning the super troop version, but obviously not 30 or so

I think it would be really cool to have the barbarian and archer puppets spawn the super version of that troop instead of the normal version, and maybe mix in that idea of spawning a few regular troops regardless of equipment.

Would be a great idea if the archers and barbarians you train match the King/Queen skin for your armies. However, in my trophy range, those troops aren’t trained in bulk and are used set of traps, lure defenses or funnel by destroying buildings out of range from defenses.

What if the puppets summon the super variation of the troop but only a few

They should also buff archers and barbarians for later levels. They are utterly useless in late town halls. When the barbarian reaches like level 5, its speed should increase for example.

I would love limited troop skins, and a trade plaza where we could trade with eachother.

Thanks for reaching out to them and asking. It has been very disappointing that they we lost the custom troops for the Heroes when we got the Hero equipment. I always liked that feature for Legend Skins. I also don’t like paying for something that we don’t get now.

I really like the idea of having skins for barbs and archers, they could match the one of the hero skin you are using. As for supercell temporaraly removing custom troops for hero skins, they should just lower the price. Most of the hero skins that came out recently are not even really worthy of that status. I stopped buying legendary skins after a while because I just didnt see the worth in them anymore, and I have quite a few anyway.

I recommend that with whatever skin you have included, it will apply to those actual raid troops. For example, if I have a champion king and I use either a barb or super barb, they will equip the champion skin as well and vice versa for the queen.

They should slap custom units on the healer puppet and hog puppet And solution: lets combine em with rage/invisi vial and return the iron fist and royal cloak back also making archers invisible so they wont hurt aq Never let me cook again😎

6:39 i gotta agree with this guy, btw he said "a particular piece of equipment", meaning just one hero equipment for one hero skin on the next future skins. By only adding one singular hero equipment a custom for a certain hero skin, they could incentives the usage of that particular piece of equipment. for example: giant arrow is kinda mid since it require great skill to utilise its maximum capabilities, but by adding a custom skin to that hero equipment people may want to use it on their army compositions more, therefore more usage to this certain hero equipment when they want to attack with something spectacular and win with style.

Off topic, but huge lack of care I wanted to mention for skin design, was that the lack of detail in the space champion for example: if you see her in a player’s profile screen, the front of her staff has the sparkle affect, but if you visit the village her skin does not have the affect… we should get ever detail we see when we buy a skin

I always wanted to use level 1/2 troops model on a high town hall level. Not losing the stats, just changing the model

They can rework the puppet equipments, and the barbarian and archer spawn as a passive ability of the BK/AQ regardless of the equipment they have. I mean they would still spawn as the active ability is pressed.

They could just make it like you could spawn super barbarian or super archer itu unlocked it.

With troops having many forms throughout their levels tbey should allow us to use any of those forms from what weve upgraded so far so if you have a level 8 troop you can use all forms from lvl1-8

Hero equipment was fun for 8 days now I hate it

Maybe custom skins for every unit based on hero skin/scenery themes (Jungle, Medieval, Shadow, Winter, etc). Sold in packs or earned in events. Blizzard implemented something similar for StarCraft 2’s units. But in COC I’d rather such features be cheaper/more accessible

What about reducing the price of the skin And make it a non compulsory addon to buy after the skin For example If the skin is 9.99$ Reduce it to 8.99$ for hero skins and puppets skins for 0.99$ Something like that

6:07 Oh wow, this is clearly the best idea that can be done ! Because I remembered something similar to this was done back then in brawl stars. An star power for a brawler 'mortis' was actually unused cuz it's weak (same to barbs) so they decided to make it 'passive ability' but waeker and if u use the same updated star power, the ability will be stronger than old one! And that was the best solution

I think we need to look at the fact that the Warden and the Royal Champion never had custom units that they spawned. I think there is a balance point that Supercell needs to find that kind of brings more value that the Warden and RC never had but isn't decreasing the value of new King or Queen skins

I think they should buff the puppets by giving them invincibility for milliseconds to few seconds so that they can survive the 1st initial splash dmg that is comming on their way when they just spawned

what about inplementing the custom troops in the home village ? i mean not in battle, like there could be always 3~4 barbarian around the altar of the king. Same for the archer queen. Even if those troops are only for decoration purpose. Or we could see the same defense as in the Builder Base with custom barbs and archers

Just make troop skins potentially for every single hove village troop. But there's a problem with switching from 2D sprites to 3D models, which will affect low-end devices

IDEA: Another idea is to buff or add something to the puppets to make them worth using them.

After adding hero equipment i feel like they can easily add hero variants like goblin king from clash quest as a skin or variant for barbarian king so they won't need to create new versions of heroes that already exist for very long time has big amount of skin variations Like in hearthstone maybe? Like.. imagine getting goblin king as a variant for king and getting skins for that goblin king That could open much more potential for the game Also there can be added selector some kind of hero selector because not all characters should have same charts because if we will see goblin king he's not gonna be same thing

They don't have to add custom animation for every equipment Mabey just for the epic ones But I doubted that would help that because people only uses bar king and arch queen epic ones but not that much of the warden ones Also there are strategies of without use of the epic ones too

I think that each hero should have at least one piece of equipment as default ability . Because the equipment upgrades are separate, causing the hero serves no benefit because each level of the hero upgrades only adds a small amount of damage and health.

Create troop skin packs where player can choose what troops wanna in that skin And first pack can be ne goblin pack bcs campain maps And can get that pack with event or gems for better free to play experience

I just wished they added the troop skin to the base troop and not have it restricted to the hero ability.

Equipment needs a respecialization book, to get back the ores that were used to upgrade and put into whatever equipment you want. It’s already expensive enough to max 2 equips, just for them to become inferior to the meta.

I have an idea In the laboratory if a troop is at a high enough level, you can research a troop skin and that skin will give them redistributed stats and can make weaker non super troops like barbs and archers a new breath of viability

They should honestly just make the puppets invincible for 5 seconds when ability is used. That would make the puppet a little more balanced to compare to the other gadgets in the game

I just saw clash put our a statistic about what requirement are being used. And all the default ones are currently still the top picks. Including the puppet options for the king and queen only. For now people would still get value using those skins and spawning the troops. But in the long run yeah they will get side lined.

What if the barbarian/Archer puppet is like a bonus ability?.So if a barbarian king has equipment equipped without the puppet and when the king die he will spawn like 10 custom barbarians. I mean the barbarin dosent put a dent of damage to buildings.

As i speak as clash player from india Buying skin for heros is difficult they are so costly that you can buy from your parents given money

if they made the barbarian puppet spawn elite barbs and the archer puppet spawn super archers it would probably increase the use of that equipment. The heros should spawn 6 normal troops when their ability is activated too see the custom spawned troop skins.

Honestly it is the lack of transparency from supercell and they did this without saying anything, they are known as greedycell in my clan 👎

It should either spawn units no matter what equipment is selected as a bonus, or, they could give us a different cool effect(s) that are about as cool to make up for it

I think the best way to implement the custom troops with the new equipment, would be that any archers or barbarians in your troops just have the customization according to the skin being used on your heroes.

The easiest substitute to custom spawned units, for new skins, is a custom ability effect. Not one for every equipment, just one that works the same with every equipment.

I see no issues with disconnecting troop skins form hero skins. Why limit custom skins to just barbarians and archers? Put a price tag on skins for every unit and add a randomizer/loadout to the skins too. Skin loadouts should let you choose skins you have that troops will use when deployed. Every troop has a chance to be a different skin you own. You can limit the skins used to one, two, five, or all the skins you own for a particular troop. Add custom troop skins in clan games, in the league shop, in special events, or wherever else. And any legendary skins players had before the split should have the troop version automatically unlocked. This makes it fair for players who have already obtained certain skins before hand.

I'm personally not going to buy any legendary skin with no custom troops, just doesn't feel worth it when older skins have more unique features and you only need one. (Personally I like the pixel skins)

We should be able to unlock skins based on puppet level. I don't own any yet but I'm saving up for the lunar queen. The rabbits are too cute

My solution is to remove the barbarian puppet and replace it with another piece of equipment. Instead, you should get barbarians every time you click the ability just like before the update. This gives players a reason to upgrade their heroes to get the extra troops per 5 levels. This means that you don’t have to sacrifice a piece of equipment just to see your custom barbarians, they spawn anyway. Personally, this is the best solution I could think of and this would get supercell a lot more money by people buying legendary skins again. If supercell feels under pressure to make these barbarian/archer skins, just space out your updates. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!

What if each troop got custom skins. They could make each level its own skin; that way you could have a max level troop and use any of the previous level’s skins - if you liked one of the previous designs more. They could also add all of the previous custom troop skins here, with the ability to add more custom skins for other troops later.

Barb and arch puppets should not be gear,its the BARBARIAN king and ARCHER queen, first thing you think of them is that they're the better version of them so it would make much more sense if they would spawn them

Well, I think the Legendary skins of Royal Champion should have a spawn skin, on the first day the release of hog puppets. I'm bias to this topic😂 since I use hybrid attacks a lot, and that's why the hog puppet is more relevant than to the other puppets.

I have a idea actually every troop have a skins not only for barbarian and archer. if all troops have skin that was a really game changing one. peoples really likes to buy a skin for troop and most efficiency one. clash of clan like to show those skin and money they spend for game also so more troops skin having more people like buy those. and reduce the amount of skin also a good change , give some free skin event monthly player like to play and get it and its a help of free2play player. (just my opinion)

Its better they add passive equipment. Example rage + gauntlet Then when use it then spawn troops as a passive skill So its like 2 equipment + 1 passive

I would Consider removing the Barbarian/Archer puppets and reassigning their statistics and abilities back to the heroes. This would serve a dual purpose: it would enhance the value of hero upgrades and ensure that your heroes can always spawn their Barbarians and Archers, regardless of any other two hero equipment they possess. Additionally, it would be beneficial if I could utilize my heroes while they are in the process of upgrading. For the love of the game SS, please make this happen.

They could just give us more hero weapon equipt slots or just remove the slots altogether and allow us to use all the hero equipment we have unlocked

I still think they should go with the idea that no matter what equipment you use the archer queen and barbarian kind spawn 4 of their respective units, not enough to drastically change the battle but good enough to make the skins worth it

If they lower the price of legendary skins they should also refund people who already purchased them, for the same reason of paying for a feature that is no longer there. I’ve never spent money on skins, but still it would just be fair (I wouldn’t hold my breath on that anyway tbqh). PS the price of tokens required to buy skins from the league shop should be lowered aswell

Ohhh i had a bad feeling about this the first time they removed custom spawned units. Now those nightmares are coming true. Supercell is now more then ever valuing revenue and business over their player base which is driving the players back from the game and caused first time in a millenia a pay to win (kinda) situation. If we look at the things from customer perspective, customers are paying the same ammount for a nerfed version of the legendary skins. And in future if supercell brings troop skins that would create other problem too. When supercell added hero skins they scrapped the model of old hero skins. Do anyone remember how the old heroes got cosmetics upgrades as their level went up. After skins uograde the scrapped that idea for a more simpler default skin. If they do the same thing with the troops to drive more skin sales this would have a negative impact for f2p players. Which is the majority. One of the main exitement of upgrading the troops is changed looks for me.😊

Oh they should be lowering the price too if brb an aq doesn’t spawn custom units too , why we should pay them the same price as before when they didn’t offer the same package as before!?
