I am very happy for both Shanta and NayanJyoti. North east in general is one part of India which is not well explored. these two contestants literally brought the North Eastern culture and food to the forefront. Shanta dressed so beautifully with her fabrics, her hair accessories, her jewelry and brought so many traditional dishes and ingredients out on this show. like seriously who knew about fermented bamboo shoots and Mandhania before this. Mandhania is not even available in cities like Mumbai. Nayanjyoti coming from an almost unknown place which is so beautiful with its natural surroundings and cooked with fermented Soy beans. Most of us have tasted South Indian food, Maharashtrian food but very few have tasted North eastern food. Most of us assume that they eat a lot of unusual meat but look at the dishes in this show !! this was an absolutely amazing journey both for the contestants and us who were watching their cooking and their dishes. I wish all of them good a very successful career. God bless their food.

I wish the judges were more honest about today's criticism. They liked everyone's dish the same way(there should be some difference between appreciation and criticism). I really want to know why Nayan is the winner, which dish makes him the winner, why Subarna is the 2nd runner-up, her which dish was lacking. in my opinion, today they didn't ask for innovation but Nayan still delivered that while Santa couldn't (while I am sure Santa's food was delicious but a little straightforward and simple for the finale).

This season was a great people study and their journey for me. You get to know so much more anout a person than just the competition. And truly, the top 3 were top 3 for a reason. Judges did a good job 👍

I always feel so bad for the person who comes 2nd man, like you feel you missed it by a single mark. Even in this case, the one who cane third got so much applause and stuff her win was hers. But then the person who came first is announced, and the one who came second is left standing celebrating the victory of the one who came first. But it's how it is in every competition, feel bad for the ones who come second.

Nayanjyoti and Gurkirat, are my two most favourite. Uffff Love the season but gonna miss it.

I watched a couple of episodes for the first time of MasterChef India and found it truly amazing. The Chefs are respectful of the contestants and are encouraging. Even their criticisms are constructive and encouraging without putting down the contestants and their dishes. In turn the contestants, although competing against each other, are respectful and kind to each other and the Chefs. In the USA this show sometimes has an unpleasant vibe with Chefs being arrogant and putting down the contestants and the contestants getting confrontational with each other leading to an unpleasant viewing experience. I wish they follow the positive model of the Indian episode.

I saw full season and I enjoyed it. But at last I have 2 points that I notice. 1) When result was announced then they announced first runner up after announce winner that is out of sequence. 2) First and second runner up got same prize money, there should be some amount difference between two. Otherwise what is difference between first and second runner up.

I wanted shanta to win. But she made such pale dish like panta (soaked rice). Disheartening. Nayanjoti chose delicious duck, prawn and heavy food. Wise decision. Never mind.😩
