The detail that scout raises his pinkie whilst drinking is so small but wonderful, it shows he still kept some of the skills he learned in expiration date lmao

It be kind of cool if this concept was made into a partner taunt but amazing work nonetheless

Any taunt that involves the mercs having unique animations showing off their personalities is an absolute win on my book.

Tbh that's a good taunt for tf2. It CAN be used as an actual taunt to the enemy you just killed and it looks pretty nice. Really hope that it gets in the game.

Love how scout drinks from a solo cup and crushed it when empty, but still keeps his pinky out all fancy like how spy taught him lmao

The worst part about this taunt is that it's literally the perfect summer update taunt. If it had come out just a bit earlier, it's almost guaranteed that this would have made it into the game.

Really creative and well made, I really liked the detail of medic having a beer foam beard!

I actually LOVE how you can see Pyro drinking from a gas can, but then you realize he has a mask on so he was just acting.

Offence class: casually drinking. Defence class: Chugging the drink. Support class: sipping.

Love the little detail of Sniper being the only one sane and professional enough to not make a mess, and put his thermos back.

I love how the sound they make depend on class type they're in : -Offense get moderate chugging -defense get loud gulping -support get gentle sipping Edit : aaaaand Valve ruined it OF COURSE THEY HAD TO RUIN IT *THIS DETAIL WAS THE BEST*

I love how all their drinks are unique and fit their characters well. Even the classes who already got drinks in game get new ones!

I really love how this one can be used both as an emote to goof around and as a taunt to tilt your opponets. The best kind of taunt.

I love how most taunts represent the mercenaries personality. It's what makes them so great.

I love how you can predict what mercs will drink if you know atleast some of the tf2 characters, it truly shows their unique personality

Really like this, this is all well done! Only nitpick(its my preference/missed opportunity) is that in Poker Night, it is implied that Heavy is a lightweight drinker, that even carbonation makes him dizzy. He orders a peach Bellini and it would had been awesome if he had one here. But I guess that all depends on whether you think Poker Night is canon or not. I'm not diminishing your work, this is still really great and I'd love to see it in game!

Imagine using that taunt for a party online 👍

My only complaint is that Engie's and Spy's taunts don't have a shattering glass sound effect when their bottles/wine glasses hit the ground. Other than that minor detail I love everything about this (especially Medic's foam-stache)

I love how their drinks match their personalities/nationalities too; though I gotta admit Pyro with a gas can caught me off guard and sent me giggling

Engineer spinning his beer like a pistol is my favourite one. It's just such an unnecessarily Texan thing to do and I love that. Edit: I also love how instead of waiting for Valve-quality content, we're making it ourselves, even down to the presentation videos. Bravo!

You know this is a really good taunt after a win in a match

i feel like this would work better as a co op taunt like the high five, where the player patiently holds the class's drink while waiting for another player to join them in a "cheers"

This is one of those taunts that arent only usable in hyper-specific situations and are very versatile Nice work

Love all the character specific drinks. Medic with his Bierkrüge and Pyro with a flat out gasoline canister, love it.

Two things, I like that Demo has a flask as a backup to him typically drinking from his Scrumpy Bottle. And that Demo and Heavy share drinking sound effects since they share the same VO

I can't help to feel this would be a lovely team-taunt. (Proposing a toast with a pal after a successful assist, would be grand!) But then again, would be a shame to 'wait on someone' for such neat taunt to activate!

I like this taunt a lot! The only way I thought it would be any better is if it were a partner taunt, like the high five, flip, or headbutt.

It's a little odd that spy discards his wine glass in such a careless way, he might get wine dregs on his suit! Other than that, an absolute top-tier taunt. Great work!!

wow, those drink items are extremely well-modeled. I especially like the sniper's thermos, the pyro's gas can, and heavy's transparent glass bottle of presumably vodka. It would be neat if there was a normal, singular taunt (the one in the video) and then a partner action one (two people sharing a drink, using the same models) and a group one (like the conga, anyone can join in, passive standing around and then you could hit left click to drink and end your taunt)

I personally LOVE that each class has their own unique bottle, each animation is filled to the brim with charm and if this were added i'd almost feel wrong to not use it. I think this is a great taunt and really hope it gets added.
