That is true, this monitor does not support HDMi2.1 but for 1080P and 1440P and 120Hz you dont need HDMI 2.1, HDMI2.0 will be fine. I used the stadard cable that came with the PS5

Ja höhere Auflösung gibt sehr oft optisch ein besseres Bild. Und ja der Monitor hat HDMI 2.0 und bevor die Frage kommt: Ja damit sind 120Hz/FPS bei unterstützten Spielen möglich. Und danke für dein Feedback, wenn du noch mehr Informationen brauchst lass es mich wissen.

Yes you will get the 120Hz and 1440P Via the ps5 Inbox cable. If you want to play a game in 4k an 120Hz, You will need an HDMI 2.1Port.

Hi, sry i dont know if there is much difference between them in real life, only differences i see is with the 27gl83a-b + some nano particles in the backlight +H3 coating (27gn800-b has an H2) +adjustable in height and the price is about 100€ more If i have to choose i would take the 27GN800 right now, or i would go into a store and have a look for an exhibit to get a real picture of it and decide after that.

Hi I played a long time with an Acer 27" 60Hz and it was an old one (estimate 7Years old ) so this one was an upgrade and with this timeframe in mind everything looks good ;P. you dont have many options to set up the colour with this smal model but you might be able to set more up with an GN850. The GN800 is the low budget model so there are limitations. Over all i was and i am happy with the picture and the colours

Hi i looked into the datasheeds and yes the new Model is better, You have 165Hz (old 144Hz), Color depth is 17 Mill colors (old 1 Mill), it is thinner, you can adjust the hight and it seems that it needs less energy.

Yes it works with the default PS5 HDMI cable, but if you have a monitor with 120Hz i would not buy another one. But it depends in the end of your wallet ;P

and keep in mind that not every game supports 120Hz

do you have the original cable in use or a cabel thats supports HDMI 2.1? Please keep in mind that you have to set up the game to go for 120Hz. In the main Menu it will still run at 60Hz it switches ingame and not every game supports 120Hz.

@@scarfejs_ angeblich soll er nicht wirklich besser sein … ich denke das da eine neue Low Budget Serie da ist. Letzte mal wo ich nach den gn800/gn850 geschaut habe gab es die nicht mehr. Kann dir hier morgen nochmal schreiben. Ich schaue mal was es noch so gibt.
