Nice looking tank. Does the filter floss sit on a ledge or is it just wedged in? Could you show this in your next video?

The tank comes with a little shelf insert that the floss sits on - probably won't show it in the next video, but I think the Zoa Tank Boys video shows it.

What happened to your budget saltwater aquarium? Would love an update if available. That was what inspired me to start my very first saltwater tank, a 10 gal Walmart with live sand and $25 lighting from Amazon.

The waterline is way to low in the tank. That ruins the tank

Is it possible to have the light go into a deep blue\purple colour before near the end of the light cycle before turning off?

Yes, to a point. Because there are only 3 time points, you can't set the colour channels to ramp down individually at different times. So there'll be a little bit of white in the evening still, albeit mostly deep blue. I'll see how it looks when I get corals in...

I used to have these lights years ago, they're also sold as AquaKnight V2s. I liked them but the fan noise was horrendous. Has this been fixed now? Also if you want a blue period at night, you can put it on a timer and set the last time point to e.g. full blues at say 8pm, and then have the timer turn it off at e.g. 10pm, and back on at 10:30 am, when your light starts to ramp back up. It holds the timings your programmed and so that way you get a few hours of full blues.

I think you also need your first time point to be zero %, as otherwise what it is going to do is slowly ramp up to 5% from the point they were completely turned off at 10 pm. This means you won't get a full dark period. Not sure if that's a problem, but thought I'd mention.

The fan is almost completely silent - quiter than my Kessil. That's a good idea re the timer. The ramp up to 5% is so tiny you almost can't tell it's on!

@@ReefDork is that the 360x? I want it, but I've heard people say the fan is silent and others say its loud so now I'm in two minds.

@@tompage8674 Yep. I have 2 in my quiet home office. I bought one 2nd hand than you can definitely hear (but it's still quiet and you zone it out) and one new that it quieter and that I don't ever notice. If they weren't in my quiet room, I doubt I'd hear either of them.

You know the light that comes with it is essentially a chinese light looks identical to the the aqua knight v2 wich is Chinese
