Setting up a fluidized moving bed filter is extremely easy with this Qanvee LH-600 aquarium filter model. Simply attach the suction cups to the filter, hook it up to aquarium air pump and affix it to the aquarium glass. FluidiZed aquarium filter provides oxygen rich water for the plants and fish. It also encourage the growth of strong nitrifying bacteria in the filter media as media is constantly moving and only give survival chance to the healthy nitrifying bacteria. My community tank is running with a canister filter and I have only setup this fluidised moving bed filter to offer additional aquarium filtration. I put one of these in every tank I have. 60, 75, and 54 bow. I think they work good, and look cool. I'm always asked about it when people see it in my tank.

I would prefer these and sponge filters over air stone in aquarium, they do an amazing job as additional filters.

hi i have one of them i removed the inside of the cap with a long nose pliers and i covered the front out let on the top of the cap i then drilled about 8 to 10 holes in the top of the lid it is running a lot quieter now you should try it

Hi Ozark, I believe filter was around $10 to $15. Don't have the link but there should be few different brands selling online. Search for fluidized moving bed filter when looking

Hi, I have one of these in my aquarium, and I also have a twin foam bio filter, but I have read that I also need a mechanical filter? Is this right? Hope you can help. I'm very confused

Twin foam serves as both mechanical and biological filtration. The foam at the bottom of this filter does mechanical filtration. You should be all good 👍

Hey what would recommend to get to clean poop up I have a bare bottom tank and try to find something that's good to clean poop up

Any filter with decent amount of flow should do. If you have an internal filter then face the outlet towards the surface of water. Water will travel at the top, oxygenate the tank and sweep the bottom and bring all the waste towards filter inlet. I hope it make sense.

Good for small tanks, its air driven so would be good as an additional filter for the tank.

Well I have a 40 gallon tank with 2 goldfish but the problem am having is keep the water clear and poop what you recommend to solve dose problems

Assuming its a 3 feet tank, an internal filter with 1000 LPH flowrate would do a good job. I have 200 liter barebottom tank with few goldfish. My sobo internal filter keeps the tank clean. I uploaded the video few months ago if you want to check it out

You can change it to your preferences, bio ball, ceramic rings will all do the job.

@@Fishaholic But ceramic rings wont give you that full tumble effect around at the top of the filter as the k1 type plastic does because of the weight difference
