When I was 16 I thought for sure I’d be living like this by 24. I’m 24 now and this is not how I’m living. I have a cozy little house in Minnesota with my husband and dog with a great backyard though! I so appreciate seeing someone as cool as you be able to make this kind of life for yourself at only 19. So this means I get to appreciate the life I have right now AND live vicariously through you for a little bit lmao

Your comment literally made me realize how I should take things slow and enjoy every moment of my life. I'm 16 at the moment and I feel like I pressure myself a lot about how my life should look like when I become a full grown adult, or that I should be getting into a relationship like any other teen right now, but I realized that I don't even need or want to. I want to experience living my life alone not thinking about any man or a kid. I love it.

dude, i've been absolutely obsessed with your content lately. i watch your videos and it's like i wanna become this whole new person who's positive and sees the best things in life. this NYC journey is allowing me to live vicariously through you!!! i've been trying to do the journal prompt you mentioned in another video, which was "write about things you're excited for, tthe stuff you haven't done yet and how thrilled you are about life". it's put things in such a new perspective for me. just recently i moved to a big city too, and i'm feeling so lost. this series and your videos in general have been my comfort recently. keep being awesome :)

I totally get what you mean by giving yourself time to figure out how you want to decorate and style your new place. The more time you spend in it gives you time to realize what you need, or want in that space.

I love the color scheme for the bedroom! I suggest you add some accent throw pillows, skinny tall lampshades and woven throw blankets. you can also add some beige toned linen curtains, trust me it will feel so homey and hotel like but still minimal and airy! love you

I live in a country where freedom of expression and life is very restricted, so NYC has always been my dream location to live alone and away freely. We need the big square pillows for king size bed, and then a few small ones for the front! Also on the side table or above the left side putting a hanging plant or just a plant on the table would really just bring more warmth to the room.
