Schedules falling up here, been wet as wet gets, they say El Nino is on the way, meant to get dry this summer. These price falls are getting epic, 15c weekly, both beef and lamb, thats on top of these high interest rates. Imagine the dairy industry where average debt is over 10k a cow! i see huge cow kill in the States (Dairy) 57k a week. Went to look at new quad bike last week, 22k. Left the place in a hurry, honestly 22k, looking at my daughters horse as perhaps the best option. I should go to Italy like Mark Ellis, be a better use of the 22k.

It's sure going to a tough next financial year. I'm looking forward to a dry summer. The stock have struggled in the wet the last few summers.

Welcome. We run a composite Kelso flock, with a Perendale base. We dag them because that's what the processors require to ensure the meat does not get contaminated. Also so they look better if they are going to auction.
