@@Faze_Drifts Yeah! I have double insulation in the walls, but still gets unbearably hot especially upstairs! Hopefully in the next shop update the ac will be getting hooked up 🤞

OO this is perfect! Thank you for the tips! The only thing that is stopping me from renovating it out is that I am considering fully moving the water lines and plumbing to the other side of the wall and putting the bathroom inside the workshop area rather than the open garage space. That way the bathroom doesn't stick out of the wall like a sore thumb and I get more space to work around the 350z area once the lift gets installed there. But let me know your thoughts!

That's a good idea as well! I considered the bin holder that Harbor Freight sells, but I've been seeing that for a good sturdy rack it comes out to be a lot more than I'm willing to spend on it so I'd be happy with possibly a peg board style wall mount too. That way I can still take the bins off when needed

I'm hoping to make the shed in the back where the game cube is into a paint booth. You mayyybe able to put like the tiniest car like the gt6 in there, but not comfortably so it'll probably be more for body panel painting and stuff!

Yes! Definitely going to move the gaming area upstairs once I get to renovating upstairs and will move the parts storage downstairs. I'm just afraid there won't be enough space for the parts, because I've horded so many as it is lmao

I demoed the offices there in the previous videos. The offices only had 8 foot ceilings and that’s why it’s hung low. The gas that’s in it is expensive to refill so I kept it there since relocating it higher was quoted at 12k$ by an ac guy. Now that I’m putting in the diy systems I’ll be installing them much higher up 😄👍

I have thousands sitting in the moving box still, but I'm unsure of where to put them all since it will take up ALOT of wall space. I'm also slightly procrastinating it because I'm going to spend days organizing them all by manufacturer and domestic market haha, but share any thoughts on where I should hang them up!

hahaha I moved to Houston the year of the freeze so I've had it easy up until this year. I'm here for the cars and space and Texas lifestyle so there's no where else that feels more like home

@@AXMGarage well good luck with getting some a/c in that shop. I know working on a car in the Texas heat all to well. Helped a friend of mine do an engine swap this time last year and we did it in his driveway.

@@AXMGarageI hope you get to drive it soon and more often. It’s unbearable with this Texas heat, but I try to drive my 67 as much as possible. It’s difficult not only with the heat, but also because I have the same problem as you do which is that you can only drive one car at one time, so which do you pick? I try to drive the GT6 when the weather is nice and also when my drive mostly involves quiet 2 lane roads, as sharing the road with modern trucks and SUVs is too stressful! Many people honestly DONT know about these cars, as most who do are dying off, and I’ve started noticing more people not even knowing what a spitfire even is, as it was my go to answer “it’s like a spitfire, only a fastback instead of a convertible, and 6 cylinder instead of a 4.” I feel like the more presence, the better likelihood of current and future generations knowing of the car. So many people have seen numerous E types and Zs, but how many have seen a single triumph? And then there’s that act of challenging the status quo. Other women see the car and think “how cute! That’s so adorable! I want one!” Then they see that it’s woman owned and start thinking that maybe classic car ownership isn’t just a male hobby. They might’ve never considered having a car as a toy, not just a tool, but seeing you, they now do. I will try to pick up my kid from school in it, and a few times even got groceries. I started seeing more people do this with their own classics, but have yet to see another woman, even though they are interested enough to talk to me about it. I’m glad to see you’re making more horizontal videos, as those vertical shorts were getting annoying. Now, not only is the GT6 in full frame but the Z along with it. Couldn’t ever do that with Shorts.

I'll be getting an electrician to come in next week to wire a bunch up in the garage and shop space, but as of right now the four post lift that will be coming in the near future and my welder are capable of running off of 110v

Yess!! That's also on the list. In the future I hope to copy and paste another building behind the current one so one will be for storage and merchandise and the other for fabrication and working on the cars.
