As you can see he's a patient and calm dad. I dont understand why people here want him to be like their parents. He is a good child I cant believe theres comments saying they're disappointed in a 2/3 years old 😂

i actually admire Jiyong .. don't you people know why he didn't scold Seungjae?? first, Seungjae taught it was a dead fish, because the usb looks like a fish, for him , he just save a dead fish, and Jiyong understand it, 2nd Jiyong didnt get mad at seungjae for touching the laptop, why? because he left it there in the open , he understand it again.. third Seungjae said it that he is upset because Jiyong scolded him, that's must be why Jiyong didn't scold Seungjae...

I love the fact that how great a friend Ji Yong us to Seungjae. Also he's so patient and I've never seen him get angry.

I'm going to rant but I find these comments SO DISGUSTING. Especially the ones saying Seungjae is no longer cute. As though it's his job to be perfect and cute for the viewers. What is wrong with people? Expecting a toddler who hasn't even reached his third birthday yet to be perfect? Then the rest of the people saying he should be disciplined and what is wrong with his dad? There's nothing wrong. Other 2/3 years olds are throwing tempter tantrums, fighting, hitting other kids, calling people names, breaking things all over the house. What does Seungjae do? Imitate his dad on his laptop, answer the phone and ask a lady for ice cream, then find a USB shaped like a fish, which he puts into a fish tank to try to save . Yet people are acting like he went crazy and drew all over on the walls, slapped another child or some shit. Damn. People saying he should be punished or even beat (WTF) and saying Jiyong is wrong, maybe take him as an example of what a parent SHOULD do: not overreact to every situation that goes wrong and get so consumed by anger you scream or hit a child over a small moment of misbehavior. Be calm like Jiyong and explain why things are wrong in a way that the child understands. Maybe your 2 year old (if you have one, or if you want to have kids) will turn out as well as Seungjae: a 2/3 year old who talks and behaves as well as a 7 year old with a very nice, kind heart (as displayed by EVERY OTHER EPISODE he's been in), who's worst moment on camera is to try to save a USB shaped like a fish from dying. I wish my future kids will turn out so well.

these people commenting how undisciplined seungjae is and how they blame jiyong lmao. yall, he's a 3 year old kid growing up. he still has lots to learn. he might be smart and creative for his age but you really expect him to act like a goddamn adult just because he talks clearly?? second, jiyong disciplined seungjae in a calm manner. not every disciplinary action from parents must be in a form of mad scolding. jiyong did the right approach. if you think every asian parents discipline their children by scolding them greatly then you're wrong. every family is different from one another. also, think about the psychological effect seungjae might get if jiyong always shows he's disappointed in seungjae for being mischievous. give him a chance to learn.

You know what I love about JiYong? He is a great dad, for example: no matter how angry he may be, he still laughs and plays around because he does not want to upset SeungJae. He's such a great father!

The fact that he wants to pee by himself even though his dad wanted to assist him and even said "it's okay" to his dad. It shows that he doesn't want to bother his dad with his works but some of you guys only saw the negative one. He is the only child. He needs someone to talk to, to play with. why does no one understand that jiyong knows he couldve scolded worse... hes done it before with smaller stuff... but hes learning and knows that seungjae really smart for his age and is able to understand whats wrong with just simply telling him instead of giving him a punishment. the words obviously affected seungjae enough if he ended up crying. im really proud of jiyong for being able to joke around after a scolding since he always felt awkward and didnt want to scold him ever bc he thought seungjae wouldve ended up hating him. 😊

It is definitely not the lack of discipline. I think that the father is doing a very good job in terms of disciplining seungjae, just that he has to focus a lot on his work and he isn't very good at multitasking to meet seungjae's needs. Maybe he can get seungjae's mum(?) to babysit and take turns doing that. As seen from the video, seungjae merely wanted attention from his dad and play and have fun together, so it should be understandable for him to try to get what he wants : to have fun!! He is still a kid after all..

Sungjae's laugh is so therapeutic. I like how Ji Yong handled this cute little mess with patience. Who could resist Sungjae's charm and cuteness?

I hope to be as patient and communicative as JiYong in the future when I'm a parent. I really admire his calmness and ability to smile at any situation.

Everyone's talking about how Seungjae's behaviour is bad etc but he is a KID still and he's curious and mischievous. the USB is fish-shaped and we all know how much he loves animals, it's really no surprise. Instead of focusing on that, can I just say the part where Seungjae was laughing at jiyong / them horsing around made my heart melt? Really really cute father and son bonding, made me sooo happy!! Just because Jiyong doesn't whoop Seungjae for misbehaving it doesn't mean that he's not giving him any discipline. Everytime that Seungjae does something bad, Jiyong will talk to him and explain to him what he did wrong. Just because Seungjae doesn't cry when this happens like other kids, it doesn't mean that he's a bad kid or he has bad parents.

This family, idk how to put it in words..they're just relatable. They have some up and down situation even more serious than the other kids. Because Seungjae is one of a kind, Seungjae once went out alone from home to buy snacks, and now this. If this show purpose is indeed to give us an education about how to solving problems within relationship between dad and kid. This is the best example. Tons of dads out there working like Jiyong, has nothing to choose but also worked in the weekend at home, with your kids watching. even if your kid needs attention.

I actually found it awesome how his dad reacted to the situation.. Instead of getting mad, he tried to fix the problem first and then he talked with seung jae that he should not do it again. Besides, seung jae only threw the USB stick into the water because he likes animals and was unaware that the stick is not resistant to water. Furthermore, seung jae said very honestly that he was not in a good mood because his dad had scolded him before.

I admire Jiyong for having as much patience as he does. He deserves so much recognition for explaining things to Sungjae instead of scolding him. Not talking down to kids makes them more responsible. "Let's be real" Age is an excuse! With age comes knowledge and wisdom. Seungjae is still fucking *2* turning 3 in a couple of months. His innocence and naivety brought him to truly believe it was a dead fish, I mean look at him running happily to the fish tank thinking he'll save it. Jiyong disciplined Seungjae to not do it again, why should he harshly reprimand him for something he honestly didn't know, he looked so regretful when he realised it was mistake. Seungjae is a smart kid and you could tell he knew did something wrong by fidgeting around. That might be one of the reason why Seungjae is smart because jiyong disciplines with situations relative to him. So ya'll bitches thinking you can do better with your hypothetical disciplinary theories...try raising a kid and see how well you can.

Seungjae is such a smart and sweet kid! I think his dad's way of teaching his son about things he has done wrong instead of whooping him or screaming at him is such a good parenting and it shows through Seungjae! Now that I am a parent myself to a five year old boy and steer clear of my parents way of disciplining.
