Hi guys, welcome to episode 3 of "All About Envelopes April". Today, we're diving into a special "trash to treasure" project, where we give new life to something that often ends up overlooked - the junk mail envelope. Imagine turning those envelopes, which we all find now and then cluttering our mailboxes, into something both pretty and useful. And the best part? This is an incredibly easy project that requires minimal supplies, making it perfect for crafters of all levels.
In this episode, I'll guide you through the creation of two unique projects. For the first, I'm utilizing vintage papers to add a classic, timeless look. I like both envelopes but green is my favorite color. I am amazed how the little splatter stamp aged the envelope. What a great way to use the little tags. I have lots of them from doing craft shows. Will dig them out 😊

Wonderful video. I have to tell you this because I felt like I was channeling you today. I’m having my craft room professionally enlarged, so my bff was over today helping me empty it. We started going through old books I’ve had on the very top shelf. Right by the ceiling for 30 years. I would pull one down and think, “oh I don’t need to keep this”. Then I would open. It and go, “oh Cindy, just look at this paper!” We kept those ones.

I'm glad you mentioned the birds because I thought I was going crazy, LOL. I kept hearing them but I thought they were outside my window. I'd pause the video and listen but thought they just happened to stop when I paused. I really liked the idea of this one. It would be easy to adapt to any size envelope with or without windows and could be made from paper if no envelope was available. Looking forward to giving this a go.
