HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THEM?! This was sooo much fun y'all, what an entertaining (basically) mini concert! Very excited to dive deeper into their discography into the future, those first impressions onto the for me unknown songs were AWESOME! Have a lot of fun with this reaction and thanks for joining me in this SEVENTEEN stacked past week!

The reason why they did Very Nice after exiting is because of a “tradition” that happens in their concerts. Seventeen usually uses Very Nice as their encore song, and would do multiple fake endings during the encore where they would pretend to finish the concert only to suddenly turn on Very Nice again and run out onto the stage. There was even one concert where they did this for over 40 minutes, almost an hour long 😂 Also A-Teen is an OST they made for a webdrama of the same name which got massively popular. Even charting No. 1 for some time. The drama later also released a sequel, and Seventeen also did an OST for them titled Nineteen. And I’ve never noticed this before but I guess Seventeen really does have a lot of rock influences in their discography. They also have done a few rock remixes for a few of their other songs too. Although they don’t really have official audio released since most of them were remixes for a2ard shows or concerts. Thank you for taking the time to learn the names. You got almost all of the ones you mentioned correct. Hoshi is the one with short blonde/white hair, Dino is leftmost, DK is the one with the jacket and growls in his vocals (the one you said had a lot of energy), Seungkwan is the blonde one doing high notes and the one with the black and white jacket is Vernon. By the way, if you want to check out their lyrics for an album listen etc, I would recommend checking out seventeenlyrics’ channel. It’s one of the more trusted lyric subbers in terms of accuracy and translation, especially in terms of who’s singing what. And since you mentioned units for NCT, Seventeen actually has units too: Vocal Unit, Performance Unit and Hip Hop Unit. The members are divided into their main expertise, however that does not mean they can’t do other stuff. Hoshi and Dino for example, who you praised in the Face The Sun album listen for having good vocals and rapping flow, are actually in the Performance Unit (meaning their main positions are actually dancers). These units will also each release a song in almost all albums. So in total, each of the unit would have at least 10 songs since debut which you could check out. There are only a few albums which doesn’t include unit songs like Semicolon which had age units, or Face The Sun and Henggarae which focused on OT13 tracks. Furthermore these units as well have quite a different sound sonically which you might not get from their usual OT13 tracks. So it’s quite a fun listen too. VU for example is more ballad-heavy. While PU is more house-inspired. And HHU is quite experimental, and sometimes diverging from their rap-focused tracks. The units would also sometimes cover each other’s songs and they usually call it “unit reverse” and would be performed at Caratland, which is like an annual fan event. It’s quite interesting too to see VU members who usually do soft ballads suddenly spit bars and become full on hip hop artists. Or HHU doing a whole intricate dance from PU. While PU sings their heart out to a song from VU. So if you feel intimidated by the amount of people, you could try exploring their discography through units first.

Some songs they sing there are bsides, they really take pride on their songs they are not afraid performing their their old songs. Woozi's been writing and producing their songs way before their debut,they have an official song which is before debut called Shining Diamond. Joshua is from LA and Vernon is really fluent in English cause his mom can't speak Korean. Their discography don't disappoint really, they have variety of genre there.🥰 Their vocals are so great. To give you a quick rundown of their discography : Seventeen started out with very energetic, funky, pop title tracks (and they still excel at funky pop songs as 'Bout You shows). That was kind of their signature for a while before they switched things up by releasing Don't Wanna Cry. They went on an "emotional EDM" stretch after that peppered with some rock in between. Then went dark for Fear in 2019. In 2020-2021, they released mostly bright or mellow songs again as a reaction to the pandemic. Which brings us to Hot which brought their more aggressive and sexy side. Throughout all those title tracks, their bsides allowed them to explore more varied sounds and genres and can offer a counterpoint to the title track (like the bubbly Snap Shoot vs the dark title track Fear).

They’re split into 3 units so u can start there. Vocal unit (in charge of harmonisation n high notes), Performance unit (in charge of choreos), HipHop unit (in charge of rap n lyrics) tbh these are supposed to be their speciality but when they do reverse unit stages, you’ll understand why they’re all an all-rounder grp! svt incorporates the Korean Sign Language in a handful of their choreos even at the start of their career which i find rlly touching bcoz they said they wanted to share music to everyone EVERYONE. And they use props soo well (objects and even their bodies as props quite often) they like to convey as if a member is controlling the other members in quite a lot of their choreos. And all their choreos relate to the lyrics which is honestly just👌🏻bcoz u dont see it often in kpop choreos. I srsly dont know how the perf unit and the dance crew that svt works together come up with these amazing choreos! Svt’s discography and choreographies are srsly super diverse! Skill and personality wise. It is very long which is why its split into 4 parts (group and then Hiphop, Performance and Vocal Unit) That makes it a lot easier to remember the members too! don't worry about them being long (maybe you prefer shorter videos, but Carats loooove long videos and we will make sure to watch them hahaha)
