I feel like they wrote this song not only for those people who suffers in depression and anxiety, but for themselves also. We don't know what's going through their minds every seconds, every minutes, every hours, and every day. We don't know how much they suffer from the problems that they are carrying. As a carat, I wish for their genuine happiness, for healthier and longer life. There are lots of opportunities ahead of them because they are SO talented. Kings indeed. Fighting, Seventeen! jeonghan: low self-esteem, sees the world through his glasses as a blur due to his low confidence but once he removes it, it shows that his friends are endlessly loving and supporting him joshua: lonely & feels like no one is there for him hence the peeking meerkat represents him always looking for someone to notice him, whereas in fact there are people looking out for him, it's just that he didn't notice it woozi: social anxiety leading to isolation hence the robot takes his place in the outside world so he doesn't have to physically interact with anyone dokyeom: mundane life, wishes to be a rock so he can just not study, have no stress, do nothing and not worry seungkwan: goldfish in a bowl, represents being in a place where people can always see you or watch what you are doing (idol life) so he feels like he can't trust other people hoshi: horanghae

평소 좋아하던 세븐틴 노래 이번에도 음이 좋길래 무심코 뮤비 틀었다가 엉엉 울었네요 어릴땐 그렇게 좋은 성적을 받고싶었고, 20대를 바쳐 원하던 곳에 합격하고 잘살아가고 있다고 생각했는데 나도 모르게 너무 공허했나봐요 사회에 나가보니 어찌나 힘든지 그 힘든 시간을 거쳐 나도 어느샌가 경력자가 되고 무난하게 평탄하게 잘살아간다고 생각했는데 어른이 되어간다고 생각했던 많은 경험들이 상처가 되어서 쌓여갔을까요? 가사들이 너무 내 마음을 대신해주는거같아 눈물이 났어요 수많은 상처들이 있어도 행복을 함께 쌓아가며 새살이 돋고 지금의 내가 되었을거라 믿어요 스스로 보기에 보잘것 없었어도 누군가 보기에 제 청춘은 아름다웠을거라고 믿으며 오늘 또 새로운 마음을 다짐하네요

어쩌다 보니 부모님의 에너지가 되어버린 나, 아무것도 모르는 막둥이 동생, 몸이 부서저라 일하는 오빠 그리고 어느새 늘어버린 삶의 무게. 그 어디 하나 숨쉴 구멍이 없는 것 같아 무너져 내린 저에게도 오늘 허루만큼은 꼭 행복해야하는 날이였어요..그치만 시간은 늘 그랬듯 속절없이 흘러가 하루가 끝이 났네요. 어디도 칭얼거릴곳이 없어 혼자 숨죽여 눈물을 흘리다 문득 '청춘찬가'를 떠올려 듣게 되었는데 수십번을 들으며 위로 받고 다시 일어나 내일을 살아갈 힘을 얻고 있네요 또 다시 감사해요. 무너져내린 날도 그리고 그런 나도 그럴수 있다고 수고했다고 다독여줘서 나의 청춘의 노래는 이제 시작이라고 용기를 줘서! 진짜 보란듯이 찬란한 청춘의 노래를 완성해 나갈 수 있도록 끝까지 같이 노래해줘요😀 언젠가 위로를 현장에서 받는 그날까지 오늘도 존버!!!!!!!!!

This is such a comfort song, my second one. The first one being what kind of future. I just wanna say, the brilliance of using "it just so happens that it's our first time living today" just hits me with all kinds of feeling. Like they're saying that it's okay to do mistakes cuz it's everybody first time experiencing today. It's just so in the face that I feel stupid not realizing it before. And the way the last part of the lyrics said the same thing but for tomorrow just kinda gave me some kind of relief that it's okay, there's also hope that everything will be okay tomorrow too, just like any other day. It's so very much comforting me whenever I'm having a hard day. I cry to this song whenever I listened to it, but when seeing the MV I can't help but laugh at the end of the song when there's a tiger horanghae-ing to the screen. 2:54 I also think Joshua represents the foreigners in a workplace. They're living in a different country so some have a hard time to fit in due to differences in language and culture. I love how his coworkers wrote the text in english so he can understand that they love how Joshua takes care of them like a meerkat

woozi - social anxiety, afraid to go outside & meet ppl face2face jeonghan - constant fear of not being enough, always feeling like there's something (of himself) to fix joshua - work stress bcs of the feeling of not fitting in, constantly on the lookout & feeling out of place dokyeom - student stress, doubting himself and finding it hard to concentrate on doing his best seungkwan - loneliness, wishing he had people or friends who call or reach out to him, and feels like he can't find his place in the world The reason why there was a tiger at the end (if you don't know) was cause this song was inspired by Hoshi since he made a mistake during a concert and said "it's my first time living too.” and then the tiny issue club, a place where anyone can get together & talk abt their problems, no matter how small they may seem. i saw this explanation on x app and it kinda make sense. also if you saw the poster on shuas part joshua is an assistant manager at work and his coworkers gave him printed “shuakat club” poster “we love how you look at us. keep looking at us like a meerkat and we will love you whatsoever shuakat!”

They probably know that most will be crying as we watch this MV which is why they put the Tiger at the end not just to pay homage to Hoshi as the inspiration to the song but to make us smile or laugh again after we cry our hearts out. This is one of those little things that they do to show that they care. Carats, we really are lucky to have these wonderful boys. 😭
