Kung Chi Pak Chi is the onomatopoeia for drums (kung) and cymbals (chi), basically like mimicking a beat

It has some older SVT vibes, going back to them being funky and refreshing! Which I'm so so glad! I love that they changed it every comeback, tho as always, after a darkish comeback, new "fans" get mad they didn't do a dark comeback, they need to learn SVT changes concept and sound each comeback and dark concepts is the ones they do the least, since their style is more funky, fun and refreshing

Seventeen always does their best to do very different comebacks follow one another. Last year older carats who were fans of refreshing sounds were a bit upset with Hot, but later got _World. It's the same this year, with Super being followed by GoM. Imo being able to do all types of things and still have ppl that "that is so Seventeen" is a special talent. I also love that they don't treat refreshing concepts as a joke, or smth that they are doing bc they are forced to, and continue to do it with joy and fun even after so many years. It's frustrating to get into a group bc of their refreshing vibes only for them to do the same old dark concepts again and again after they've gained some traction. Thankfully SVT is an exception.

You know in the U.S. when we say rum-pa-pum pum or rat-a-tat-tat for drum rhythms? Kum-chi-pak-chi is same type of thing.

I also thought that they referred themselves as God of music at first when they dropped the title track, but turns out it's like "thank you for the music" type of song. I love it! Very upbeat and it just lifts up my mood, good vibes only

The instrument is called “Alphorn” and it’s a traditional Swiss instrument. If you watched Heidi you might have heard the instrument in the background of the opening song and throughout the anime ^^
