Hey guys, I know the intro is really long, even longer than per usual but I really wanted to take a few seconds to talk about what happened last week. Please feel free to skip ahead to 2:14 if you’re not comfortable with the topic or not ready to hear about it, I completely understand. And for those who stayed, thank you for taking the time to listening to what I had to say.
Like I said in the video, there really isn’t any transitions in the world that could feel appropriate so please forgive me for the transitions here that most likely feel of poor taste.
Still, I came here today looking forward to this comeback of Seventeen and once again, they really proved (not that they need to anymore tbh) that they can seriously do no wrong! I said how I hated how good they are and obviously it’s not true but I think it speaks levels on how good they are and they keep on becoming even better even though they’ve been here for such a long time! That’s admirable and I was actually starting to question how it was even possible for them to still be expending but I think they might have answered that question in the lyrics of the song! “I love my team, I love my crew” also how they’re always trying to improve, running towards the better etc. That’s the secret I suppose and man is it a powerful feeling to share! I absolutely loved the drop and the way they teased it in the 2nd chorus! The bridge was a masterpiece in itself! You guys know I am a sucker for anything traditional/modern and they this it in such a majestic way. Also watch this become the performance of the year! Anyways, I’m obsessed with the drop, really liked the song! The MV set felt a bit empty but since they filled the whole thing with dancers and energy, it felt really majestic! I don’t think this is my favourite song of theirs … yet? But still, a really incredible song nonetheless!

First of all, I want to thank you for acknowledging Moonbin's recent passing away. I had a difficult time myself. It was really hard accepting it. But it got better with time. Everyone's allowed to grieve the way they want to. We all love him! Your respectful condolences mean a lot! May our Moon rest in peace. Now to the reaction....SEVENTEEN did a great job with this comeback! The whole album is incredible. I am so proud of them. They really worked hard. And I am happy Seungkwan is taking his time to grieve the way he wants to. Our support is always with him.

It's been hard for everyone. I'm not an Aroha but I know how important Moonbin is to Seventeen, especially Seungkwan. Until now, it is still not sinking to me. Every time I think of him, I always imagine his big sweet smile. To everyone who's having a hard time or silent battles, you matter. Someone is willing to hear you. To Seventeen, I am glad to stan these 13 men. They are one of the reasons to my joy. I love this relationship between them and Carats. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I’ve been a carat since their debut in 2015 and personally I believe that the reason why they been able to grow the way they have is because they have matured their music since their beginning. The biggest thing for me was I was able to grow with their music and I believe that that the new generation of people that love kpop-that love music-are still able to grow with their music. Seventeen are amazingly good at adapting what is currently popular in the music scene but still making it their own sound (Woozi is a genius producer after all!!!!!). I will always be such a proud and happy carat, they are so loved and respected in the KPOP community regardless of how incredibly chaotic they all are but they are also people who work hard. and if you are a baby carat or someone who loves kpop please go back and listen to the journey they have had. It doesn’t have to be albums but just all the title tracks and pre singles in order and you see why 7 years later they are still a staple and a force to be reckoned with in KPOP 🥹💙💓 Also, thank you for your tribute to Moonbin. His passing has shaken the KPOP community in every aspect. Seventeen has such a close friendship to all the members of Astro as well. So truly thank you

SEVENTEEN's passion and mindset they had from the beginning of their journey as an idol group has not declined over the years. Instead they are treating every comeback as a new way to express a new style and to improve their craft. I will never get tired of any future SVT releases. I know SVT is always striving to be at their best and always willing to surpass their previous comebacks.

thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about Moonbin in this video. Seventeen members have also been really good friends with him and they went to the memorial place in Fantagio and left messages there (incl Woozi, wonwoo, Mingyu, DK) Woozi promised that he will release What Kind of Future on Moonbin’s birthday next year because Moonbin really liked that song, so he’s dedicating it to him. Seungkwan has appeared in promotional videos that were pre filmed but he is taking his time and has skipped promo schedules for now and we as carats understand completely. there are also accounts saying they saw seungkwan going to Fantagio with their ‘98 friends and he’s somehow smiling, but yes it’s still good to give them more time to deal with this.

Moonbin was such a precious person and I miss him so much. I have a hard time listening to Astro's music without crying and I assume it will be that way for a while.

손오공 (SUPER) is inspired by the Chinese mythical creature named Son Wukong from Journey to the west he is known as hardworking, as someone who doesn't give up and as someone who gets stronger everytime. If you want a more familiar reference, that Son Wukong was also the origin of Son Goku from Dragon Ball. You could notice the references if you know it like the hand gesture on the chorus(pointing at their forehead), the flying cloud on Cheol's part + the choreo where he was passed by the dancers, and his weapon power pole(Shua's part).

First of all, Thank you for your tribute to Moonbin and he will be in our hearts forever. I'm a fan of Seventeen who dare to insist that Seventeen is a group that always dares to always try something new. And besides, because they make their own music, that's why their work has no boundaries and always continues to expand. And Seventeen is not a group that has a fixed concept for me, but they create the concept of the group for us to see for ourselves, such as the highlight of their choreography, self-made artist, a group whose members are strong in bonding, etc. If you talk about these things, then you must think of Seventeen. I think that Seventeen creating their own song is very important for them to do something new. In this song, Jeonghan sang the rap part in a different tone. They really had no boundaries and no limits. Woozi also said something like, 'He doesn't care much about trends, he wants to make it look like Seventeen rather than follow trends'. which here is very touching for us, you will do, whatever you want, We're already addicted to Seventeen Vibes.

Moonbin shook me to the core and I'm not even a fan of them. I just saw most of his youtube shorts and tiktok videos dancing on stage and being this goofy guy. My initial thought when I saw the news article was "This was too much for a prank" and then other news outlet released the same thing and that's when it hit me. Rest in paradise Moonbin-ah. Please be happy 🫶

This song seemed to be a particular hit among anime lovers as soon as it was released to the public! Many immediately recognized the lyrics and choreography, which seemed to be based on the concept of the world-famous Japanese anime DRAGONBALL. As someone who also grew up watching DRAGONBALL, I was happy to see the inclusion of poses and special moves of characters from the anime. The members of SEVENTEEN have long professed their love of Japanese anime, so I applaud the great eye they have for conceptualizing it. I was shocked myself about the Moonbin case. Today is the first time I am speaking about it. On that day, it was implicitly agreed among the fans that it should not be mentioned easily by anyone other than Aloha, so I did not dare to mention it. It was not because they were not sad, but because the next time they sent out a joyful word, people would be hurt by the quickness of the switch. If the fans aren't laughing, Moonbin can't laugh either. So I would like to say to Moonbin from the bottom of my heart, "Thank you for all the happiness.

After needing to take 2 days to just grieve for moonbin, something that helped me process my emotions were reading the messages left by Boo, Woozi, Wonwoo, DK, the astro members and Sua for Bin... Their messages helped me get into the mindset that I can keep him in my heart while continuing running forward... (Sorry I'm not the most eloquent about this.)

If you’re wondering, Super is a refrence to Dragon ball with a couple poses and lyrics relating to it. Sonogong is Goku’s korean name as well. In addition, they also based it off of Journey to the west which was also the inspiration for Goku and his Saiyan race. After the painful loss we had last week, I’m really glad they released such a powerful song like this. It feels really energizing and a mood booster.

I stopped expecting anything from them a long time ago, because everytime they come back with something completely unexpected! This album is so good and seeing them grow into this since 2017 makes me so proud🎉 Also Carats have been giving their all for this comeback on all platforms 💎 You need to listen to the Full album. I love every song but ‚I don’t understand but I love you‘ has been on repeat!! I hope they make a ot13 version of this!

Moonbin's death was so shocking to me i haven't been able to cope with it for days all what I thought about was him.. His smile was so bright... Tbh I had this idea inthe back of my mind that I need to be ready for news like this on any idols (knowing how hard this industry is) but never in a million year I thought that this will happen with moonbin it was such a a shocker.. May he rest in peace 🙏🙏🙏 let's cope with this sad passing together guys

I believe one of SEVENTEEN's drive is to surpass themselves every comeback and they always challenge the status quo and their own capabilities to show more, do more even beyond everyone's imagination. I think that's what make SUPER such a surprising track even to us, CARATs. But yeah, SVT did it again!

Sometimes when I hear about moonbin I find myself crying. Other times I find myself smiling and laughing at how precious he was and how passionate of a performer he was. Grief isn’t linear. I can only imagine what moon sua and the rest of his family and close friends/ Astro members are feeling.

Totally agree.... On the day the comeback was announced, Woozi wrote a long letter to carats on weverse that he was nervous to put out something he hasn't before, but he asked for carats to stay with them and to trust him (and them)... 🥲❤️

I think this might be my favorite HypeTeen song but Seventeen have so many flavors and _so many_ songs - this is their 10th mini album! Then there's full albums, repackages, special albums, digital singles, Japanese albums - it's kind of impossible to pick just one song, the quality is too high. Thank you for your kind words regarding Moonbin's passing. All I can hope is that his family and friends get the time and space they need to grieve in peace., and that Aroha know that so so many of us in the community are standing with them, in support and solidarity.

Thank you for being so open regarding Moonbin's passing. I really appreciate it. Regarding Super, I feel like the song very much came at a time it was needed. Given everything that's been happening, the lines "I love my team, I love my crew" really brought tears to me. It feels like a song about coming together to heal and become stronger, and I think that's something that's very important to convey right now.

But I have the luck that I can talk about literally everything with my parents and I already signed up for a therapist. Thank you for the long intro even though I don't stan Astro but I know of them because of their popularity and their friendship with Seventeen so it still hit me by surprise when I saw the news. Thank you and I hope everyone will feel better eventually. And yes, I never expect Seventeen to go with this concept so it struck me with excitement when I was enjoying the song and MV. I'm not an Astro fan but i'm a casual listener even tho i dont stan them i knew Moonbin, he was a sunshine. even if you didn't know Astro you will know Moonbin. it's just he was a bright person so it never crosses your mind that he is struggling. I just feel shocked and shaken still. Moonbin was the last person I thought was having a hard time and can't deal with it anymore. Rest in peace Moonbin

We respect you for giving tribute to moobin, and don't worry I can probably say that most of the carats didn't skip❣️✨️though I don't know much about moonbin but I have seen him in some shorts , he was freaking talented..so sorry for his family, friends, fans and south korea, that they have lost such a gem💎 🥺RIP MOOBIN. Your words regarding Moonbin were really comforting. As a very emotional person myself I get teary very easily. And thinking about our Moon brings me a lot of times tears to my eyes. But as time goes by I am trying to think about him with a smile on my face. I dont really have someone to tell this, thats why its feeling good to write it here. I'm not gonna lie I have been so worried about you because of moonbins passing. I'm thankful that you acknowledged it. It has been very hard and hasn't been easy. Thank you for allowing us a safe space in you. Thank you for acknowledging Moonbin at the beginning. I hope you are doing ok coping with the news. It was hard for Aroha and casual listeners of Astro like myself too. It was really hard to accept for a couple days. I hope his family and friends are doing ok. Seungkwan was very close to him so I hope he is getting the time he needs to grieve and recover. Seventeen's comeback is amazing. It will surely win performance of the year. The other title track F*ck My Life is very different from this, but very beautiful. The rest of the album is so good too.
