AJU NICE is their mega hit song.....like it is huge in korea... it is used in variety shows.....and for carats this song is special because...they sing it as a encore in concertsss...and they play it again and again and again...in their recent follow tour in seoul it was played 15 times...and thwy were sick of it...and carats were still shouting "encore" and they were like NO, SHUT UP ....we might die😂😂....

12:22 / 12:23 that was hoshis falsetto😂 Fun fact: seventeen loves swimming pools 😂 they have shared that their first out of town was mama in hongkong and they were the only ones using the pool out of all the other artists in the hotel 😂 even today if they check in to any hotel everytour you will always spot them at the pool.

Their debut song was "Shining Diamonds", which is adorable...then AND now. It's also the song that inspired the "Carats". VERY catchy, and talk about "on replay"!! :)

AJU NICE was such a big song in Korea It still is.. Like if you go ask a random person on the street if they know SEVENTEEN or any of their songs the first they would say is probably Aju Nice.. Its funny coz Aju Nice does not have a single music show win but its unarguably SVT's most popular song.. They do the song as an encore at the end of every single concert of theirs.. where the staffs keep playing the song's chorus over and over again, sometimes fakeout the ending and play it all over again we call it Neverending AJU NICE.. There are clips where the members get startled by it.. Also for the recent concert they Aju Nice-d for like 15 times coz Carats were shouting for the encore and U should have seen the members' faces they were all so done with it.. Anyways its nice that you are getting into SVT.. Love the reactions!!

I don't know much about them back then but from what I know. Seventeen debut is a success for a group that came from a small company. They are one of the rookie that are well known during 2015. Knetz create a title called EBS that stands for Exo, BTS and Seventeen since 2016 for the most influential group. That's show how big their popularity as a new group to able gain that title alongside with big group.

If you ask koreans if they know Seventeen, even if they basically don't follow the group, they will most likely still know Aju Nice... As for us Carats, we love it as the must-have encore song during concerts. Like the experience wouldn't be complete without it.

Very Nice does is a HUGE song for svt, now, at the time it wasn't that much, it didn't even got any win. The first some that help them get more attention globally and by kpop stans was Don't wanna cry The song at the start of the Healing Mv is Rock Check-In is a hiphop unit song that is only in the cds of Al1, not digital, so that might be why you hadn't hear it. Similar to how the Performance unit has Who in the Al1 albums, tho that one has no MV, just performances.

Hi! 💖 Thanks for your reaction! From what I know, when seventeen were rookies, they had a different concept from most other groups. At that time, other groups had darker concepts kinda type, while seventeen sudenlly poped up with a fresh-high school boy vibe concept. Thats what make them unique Many thought that Seventeen would debut with a tougher concept like their pre-debut song, Shining Diamond (I think they have video MV for this, also performed on their debut project show). But they surprised the public with a lighter-fresh-bubbly concept for their debut song (Adore You). Hope this info helps 😊

check-in is my favorite unit song ever, i love it and how like funky it is, it’s seriously such a good song w a cool vibe. also seventeen’s family dynamic is why i love them sm and am so interested about every aspect of the group, they’re such a genuine group and you can tell they truly consider each other family.

When you get to the performance unit track, 'Lilili Yabbay,' be sure to check out the unit switch version where the hip-hop unit attempts it, and the version where the performance team does it but Seungkwan is filling in for The8 and he doesn't know the choreo so he fakes it. comedy gold :)

For Aju Nice @5:04 it was DK hitting the high note. Then, for the second part it went Seungkwan, then DK and Seungkwan finishing it off with his iconic “oneul nan mal-yaaaaaa!” at the end😁 Thankfully, they all sound different, so once you’re able to match their voice to their faces.. you’ll be able to distinguish who’s voice it is in no time👍🏽

@7:25 In a way, Yes. Aju Nice is their coming out party in Korea the same way that Don't Wanna Cry was their coming out party internationally . . if you know what i mean. Also I NEED TO BRING THIS UP but there's one more song with an MV from the Pretty U and Aju Nice Era and it's called Love Letter. It's a B-side track from the Album. SUPERIOR B-side track in my opinion and very underrated because it's just as Lovely as _World and Darling but was released in an earlier time. I hope you'll get to listen to it as it's one of my personal fave songs from these 2 albums (Love & Letter and Love & Letter Repackaged . . . YES! You read that right . . . the track i'm talking about is in the title of both albums T_T).

No .. seventeen were super popular since the very day they debuted ...their album 17carat was the ONLY rookie album that charted at 21 on billboard ..and it was longest charting that year!!! Everyone was debuting with dark songs that time and seventeen going to debute w "shinning diamond"where we got out names ,and the phrase "slip into the diamond life" ..anyways but they decided to change it to "adore u" and it was a HUGE HIT!!!🔥🔥🔥 And one thing that was unique was presented new stage every time they performed !! Ikon had a huge fanbase otherwise seventeen debute was such a huge success they would have been racking in all kinds of rookie awards ..and Just 4 Months Later they released their 1st mini album "be boys" - MANSAE ...another HIT!!! Then pretty u (in April2016)- "pretty U" ...they got their first win😭🤘 So no it's not "aju nice" ..aju nice was not title track it was a track from their REPACKAGE ALBUM ..it didn't get any win cuz they were UP AGAINST THE BIG GROUPS that time shinee , superjunior ,gfriend ..so on but the show "amazing Saturday" after that there is was stopping it!! Even in sports tournament ..it became Korea's ANTHEM ,so did "DON'T WANNA CRY" - it was ANTHEM !!! PPL might not know Seventeen ,cuz pledis SUCKS at promoting them but for SURE their songs were known by everyone!! And every album was huge hit!!🔥🔥🔥

In the part of very nice talking about the high vocal in background was DK voice. Majority of seventeen songs the high notes alternate between DK and seungkwan and woozi would also contribute. In the bridge before seungkwan done the long high note was also Dk so if you listen to that part you can hear their voice differences. Also can hear DK high notes so superior in Boom Boom. It is difficu😮to hear differences of voices at the beginning. 😊 Very nice is probably the most recognisable seventeen song and most famous although it didn’t win awards and still bring the awareness to the group compared to Don’t wanna cry and clap but very nice is used for a variety show called Amazing Saturday every week since the show began and seventeen are known as family on the show since it has been on since day 1 but also it is played constantly and used in a lot of sports events so that is why it would be mentioned a lot, everyone knows it.

What's funny is when the sub-units switched up group songs, the Performance team parodied the Hip Hop's song and changed "Check In" to "Chick-En"...and one came out in a chicken suit! :D And no, Woozi isn't in the "Check In" video, though he helped write/produce it.

Definitely recommend hip-hop unit's unreleased concert only songs like Un haeng il chi, Lotto etc cause for the albums the songs are more chill and funky but those one's are leaning towards diss rap

aju nice is one of their biggest hits (along with don't wanna cry), everyone in Korea knows it, but surprisingly at the time it never won any awards! but it remains one of their most iconic songs, it's always used in variety shows and it's a bit of a meme song but in a good way. it's seventeen's encore song at the end of concerts, and they will perform it until either the fans beg them to stop or they run out of energy hahah. it's a lot of fun, they perform aju nice in a loop over and over (the never ending aju nice), at their most recent concert they performed it 15 times! also josh, i think it's okay if check in is your favourite even if not all are in it! trauma is also a hip-hop unit track and it's one of my favourite seventeen songs ever (i know you like this one too!) i know i love all the members (and i know you do too!), so it's okay to have favourite songs. in fact, a lot of my favourite songs are unit songs - i also love same dream same mind same night (vocal unit), i don't understand but i luv u (performance unit), change up (svt leaders), and q&a (woozi, coups, vernon and ailee)

7:40 Aju Nice is their most known and loved song and I feel it was a turning point in terms of their popularity. It has become a Kpop anthem, this song is heard in almost all variety shows, radio broadcasts, it's played at sport events, it was also played at the Tokyo Olympics and many groups have covered it. Also it's their encore song for all their concerts and if you ever have the opportunity to attend one you'll know what the "never-ending Aju Nice" is all about so good luck! 14:50 수고했어 means "great job", "you did great", "you worked hard"... 15:09 "Holiday" is such a great summer song, the MV was edited by Wonwoo and filmed by the members so another gift for Carats 15:57 SVT's friendship is another level. I've never seen such a healthy, loving and respectful friendship as they have. Honestly it's the envy of the whole fandom, I would love to have a friendship like that with someone at some point. They used to do so many versions of their dance practices and part switches in the early days. They had the tiniest practice room for the early music! I think you mentioned DK with "such a good actor" and he actually was King Arthur on Broadway in Korea. Aju Nice is the one of the Nation's favorite songs. It is also the endless encore song. Healing and Holiday have that whole day in the life feel that is special. Mingyu will get you in every video. Loved "when the glasses come off" - cute! Unit songs are precious. I love that you get to share this journey together. Josh is learning some of the gems that he missed too! I think Boom Boom hits more than most give it credit for. But, tell me why Seungkwan gets the khaki cardigan and everyone else gets cool jackets.

Very nice it's seventeen biggest hit song. It plays in a lot of variety shows in Korea, i.e. amazing saturday. Also it's very loved by carats because it's usually the ending encore song in a seventeen concert and they play the song multiple times, in the last concert they did aju nice 15 times. Seventeen does some special units switch in caratland (their fanmeeting) it is always amazing you should definitely check it out. Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Nice(Very Nice) is so corny on 1st listen, lol. It's not bad. I liked the looks in the MV. Visuals all of them. =0p They sing it as a encore in concerts. Woozi is a super huge fan of Bruno Mars and I believe that's the reason you're getting BM/Silk Sonic vibes on their funk genre and especially on the vocal unit ballad and slow pop songs. Don't Wanna Cry and Thanks should be in one RV due to the same vibe. Call Call Call, 24H and Fallin'Flower in one video as well. Thank you for diving into SVT.

Genius Songwriter Woozi!!! I am always amazed and fascinated in Woozi finding and inquiring inspirations for Boom Boom while eating ganjang gaejang is like as soon as he left the restaurant the melody suddenly was playing in his head that he needed to record it on his phone is like Hoshi finding the inspiration for the choreography for Pretty U while sitting on a sofa at a Waffle House.

I love Boom Boom but I've never really understood the video. (I did love Woozi eating the donut tho) I prefer the jacket choreo. Thank you for this very fun walk & listen thru their early years. SEVENTEEN are so versatile who are never afraid and will slay every different genre of music. I also wish Check-In was available on Spotify. You guys should also checkout the Vocal Team’s Reverse Unit performance of Check-In at SEVENTEEN’s Fan Meeting CARAT Land.
