That's the first time Wonwoo cry in front of the cameras and it looks like he was trying to hold back the tears. The members said it's really rare to see Wonwoo cry even though they've been together for 10 years. This man always try to hide his true feeling and makes himself look like a tough guy so when he cry it just hit different 😔

Yeah Woozi doesn’t drink. He actually has a mural in his studio of the 4 things he doesn’t do, which are: drinking, smoking, tattoos and piercings. I think for alcohol, he said that it’s because he’s allergic to them and doesn’t really get that light-headed drunk feel but instead just the pain so he stopped drinking. Not sure about the other three though. But I know vocalists and singers don’t really smoke to protect their throat, along with just the overall negative side-effects smoking can have. I think for those of us who don’t drink (or any of the four stuff), be it due to religious, health or other personal reasons, it is quite a nice change to see someone from an entertainment industry and a Korean society that’s well-known for its drinking culture, share the same ideals as you.

Shinggi banggi boong boong baangi is a phrase that Jeonghan created and it went pretty viral among fans and other k-pop idols as well. The fact that woozi has an allergy to alcohol, so he never drinks alcohol and only drinks water or soda if they drink together. That's why they were all shocked when woozi suddenly wanted to drink alcohol, look at scoups who were very jealous of dk because he wanted to pour it for woozi, even their staff were also shocked when they saw that. of course we carats were also shocked by that and how woozi explained the meaning of the song and cried, we saw some members who almost never cry in front of us like wonwoo and jeonghan were crying too. I appreciate your very last comment. SEVENTEEN helped me go through my hard time as well. They really put their own emotions into their songs and performances and share those emotions with us, which let us to sympathise a lot. That is one of the reasons people like SEVENTEEN I believe. As CARATS, we can be opened and connected to each other.

Drift Away is actually from their first full album where they had Pretty U as the title track. So it’s very early on in their career as it was released in 2016. Still fresh rookies. The main reason why they chose this song was because ever since last year, Jeonghan has been trolling and joking with Carats by saying that Seventeen will perform Drift Away every time questions like performance spoilers, concert setlists etc came up. And he’s been quite consistent with it too. Whether on Weverse or in some of their interviews. So I guess they finally decide to make the performance a reality by singing it in this Tipsy Live.

Don't worry man, all of us Carats who saw this video also teared up. Wonwoo crying broke my heart. Just thinking about how hard it must be for him (for anyone) to lose someone so dear, but also about how much his members love and support him through it. Thinking about the lyrics of Circles through the prism of "words Woozi wanted to tell Wonwoo" makes it that much more precious and emotional.

Also Hoshi being devastated watching his best friends cry is the most painful moment ever. Wonwoo and Woozi have such a special place in his life, we don't really know what they might have gone through but one thing for sure it's that they went through it together 💎💎💎

Svt's music is really good. But what made me stan them is that they're so true to themselves. I truly believe this is what sets Seventeen’s music apart from other groups. Because they are able to write their own songs, the true meaning and their feelings behind the lyrics - you, the listener, can just feel it in the music. It just means more and this is woven into their songs. Groups whose songs are bought by their companies and have parts and lines assigned to them, you can really tell the difference. They work hard to make that music their own, but it doesn’t feel the same way that Seventeen’s music feels. Especially songs like Hug and Circles - other companies won’t usually include songs like those on albums. These simple sounding songs are able to invoke great emotions in their listeners (and Carats) just by feeling true and honest. This isn’t Seventeen filtered through an outside songwriter and production company as arranged by their label company. What we are hearing are the raw emotions, thoughts, and feelings of Woozi and the Seventeen members, with the help of Bumzu and their production staff. I fell in love with K-pop as a young EXO-L years ago and although I love their discography, their song Promise has always felt the most honest and real of their songs, mainly because their members wrote it. It was the first time a K-pop song made me cry. And I fell hard and fast as a Carat when Seventeen debuted and even more when Pledis trusted them more and more to include their own songs on albums. As others explained, Woozi does not typically drink. If ever you see him with a shot glass, it generally has water in it. If you pay close attention, he dumped the water out before he grabbed the alcohol bottle.
