The NYPD and several other law enforcement agencies are hopeful their actions have sent a message to toll evaders and people looking to cause trouble. CBS New York's Tim McNicholas reports.

Why not crack down on the illegal mopeds??? Side note: I know a lot of LE uses these license plate covers on their personal vehicles in Jersey. Im assuming the same is true for NYC

The average citizen is sick and tired of the constant money grabs in NY making it nearly unlivable. Ghost cars are wrong but maybe the ridiculous way NY govt is setting up cameras and speed limits and “ congestion pricing” as the latest money grab, will hurt NY business as the message received is NY is too expensive to visit. After growing up in the Bronx i now hate coming into NY, and avoid it at all costs. Glad to be an ex New Yorker.

Call 311 or report online when u see a Parked car with illegal plates. Get 😮 the location and model of car. When driving get the model of car and location and call 911.......
