Five 'Bricks & Minifigs' stores throughout Southern California have been burglarized in recent months, totaling several thousands in losses. KTLA's Jennifer McGraw reports on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Leave the lego stores alone. They are all private and mostly hobby shops. They dont insurance for this.

You get what you pay for. LEGO continues to make a good product and the price reflects that. I'd much rather prices rise than companies make a cheaper product that isn't worth a damn. It's always parts of less quality or smaller sizes to fool the customer. I saw an article from China that LEGOs there are a status symbol of wealth!

While I'm not saying that it wasn't horrible that they got robbed. The resell scene of Lego has caused these outrageous prices for Lego pieces and minifigs. It's almost if not already just as plagued by all the hype beast brand resellers and such.

There's no point in sending thieves to prison, non violent offenders only serve 33% of their sentence and it cost $132,860 annually to house them. County jail gets overcrowded and non violent offenders get released early..
