Learn all about sewing in quick bits! This video explains what NAP is. You see the *with or **without nap on the back side of all pattern envelopes, but what does it mean? Here is a quick explanation of the different kinds of nap.

iiI had a hard time finding a seamstress,so I am watching videos to refresh my mind about the sewing machine. I feel inspired to make a black silk velvet cropped jacket.. no lapels, no collar. i am in for a challenge, but I think I can do it. We have an old Singer sewing machine from a belated Aunt. I want to try it out.. It's been a long time since I sewed on a machine. Thanks for the videos, very useful. :)

Yes, seamstresses who want to sew for others are hard to find lately. I think that is why my sewing school is so busy, :) Have you seen my "Sew a Shrug" video, that would make a nice (and easy) little jacket for you. Good out of silk velvet too.
