Sewing a Vintage Apron | Simplicity 9496

3 ай бұрынThis week I worked on sewing this 1940's style apron I said 1950's lol. I'm so happy with the outcome and hope you enjoyed the video.
Pattern: Reproduction Simplicity 9496
Fabric: Blue Quilting Cotton from Joannes, 104 yard width

Pattern sewing instructions are no help sometimes 🙃. The voice over was great and very helpful to follow through the video 👍🏻

Hi Grace! Thankyou so much 😭🫶🏻 i made the black dress back in january used the Bustier Rose Cafe Pattern on etsy for the top and for the skirt I free handed the pattern (-: its basically my waist length for the waist piece, the 1st tier is 2X width of my hips and 17 inches long. The second tier is 4X width of my hips and 10 inches long! very easy but beautiful ruffled results ! The fabric is black swiss dot from mood fabric, I appreciate your support !

I congratulate you for your work. It is very well done. And you wear it well; you are so cute and elegant. Me too, although I am a man I like wearing especially cross-back aprons, without ruffles.
