Very electronic machine. Never heard an electrically lifted foot although I could easily engineer one. Will be building a cordless sewing machine to run n ryobi drill batteries. Been having no trouble with spandex but immense trouble with elastic over 3/8". Never tried stretching as I sew. Will need to do 2" elastic but for now my sister ordered me an elastic foot with adjustable tension.

How are you placing the elastic? I feel like the very beginning got cut off of how you were pinning the elastic to the garment.

what kind of elastic are you using? rubber or cotton blend..

I use knit elastic made of polyester and rubber

whats tour machınes brand and ıs overlock and sewıng machıne enough

I use a Babylock brand machine. I have sewn 100's of leotards and only have a basic sewing machine for finishing the elastic. I do use an overlocker/serger to do my interior seams. However, you can easily put together a leotard only using a sewing machine
